Nice. I recently just finished my training as a proofreader with the PTC, and whilst it IS impossible to edit/proof your own work perfectly and my book may not win any prizes, it's not that bad. I offer 2k free as an evaluation and to help novice authors, and some are terrible, so I must have upset someone. I'm always professional and as kind as I can be, but I did make the mistake of asking one girl if English was her second language...it wasn't. lol
Ironically, the negative review is having a very positive effect on me...

I can't remember the last book I've read, trade- or self-pubbed that didn't contain an error here or there. I'm sure mine still has stray errors, too, despite how many rounds of edits it's been through. It's just impossible to catch everything.
Sometimes I think with the internet, people don't always stop to remember there's a real person on the other side of their comment before they hit post. Sorry for the ouch moment.
