Me personally it's easier to read when it's warmer like the summer and of course the spring rather than the other, because when it;'s cod I have to constantly move around with cover to feel warm since I am constantly moving my hands. But in the summer I don't have to keep moving around so I'm able to focus on my book.

Marie Doesn't matter to me but I really love this question as I have never seen it asked before in any of my groups. To me though it seems I read more in the fall and winter as I am kind of stuck in doors so what better way to spend my time then with some good books. Spring and Summer I don't seem to read as many as I am outdoors more.

Barbara Warren (barbarawarren) | 3 comments I like to read anytime. It's my favorite occupation. But I think I read more in the cold. I like to get warm and read. In the summer there are more things I have to do outside, but I still make time to read. I've always been a strong reader. It's an important part of my life.

Lori Alden Holuta (lorialdenholuta) Cold. Reading relaxes me, and I often doze off over a page. That happens less if I'm breathing cool air.

Anne Schlea | 11 comments What a neat question! I prefer to read when it's cold outside. There's nothing better than getting warm under a blanket and reading while curled up on the sofa. Preferably with a nice glass of wine...

Jim Vuksic | 1227 comments Since I only read indoors, whether it be home, a public library, hotel, or waiting room of a public building, the temperature is usually around 73 degrees Fahrenheit; therefore, for me, the question is moot.

Theresa (theresa99) | 535 comments I read year round. Sometimes I get more reading done in winter because there's less to do outside, but it doesn't make much difference to me.

Ben Cass (bencass) I used to read year-round, but lately, I've been spending most of my free time writing and editing my first two novels.

Generally speaking, though....I don't care when I read. There are really only 2 seasons in South Florida: Summer/Hurricane Season, and Not-Summer-or-Hurricane Season. The first season lasts from about April through September, possibly October, while the other goes from October to March. Our house stays at 76 degrees all year, so it's not a matter of temperature.

I find my reading wanes while editing, too. I'm making an effort to schedule reading time just like I do workout time.
