((Eh, whatever you want. I'm not experienced with this.))

Name: Kyle Williams
Age: 18
Looks: Short, brown hair, blue eyes
Is extremely shy
Would you prefer first person or third person writing for this? :)
OK.
She was working on her latest project, a landscape sketch of a boat.
"That's awesome," said Antigone.
Mariska almost smiled, but an image of Janine's sneering face floated into her mind, and she continued drawing, trying to be oblivious to the compliment.
Iggy's the kind of person who's nice to EVERYONE, she reminded herself. She doesn't really like it.

((Yes. I'm not great with descriptions, tbh))

Kyle looked over Mariska's shoulder. He had always thought she was an amazing drawer. In fact, he had liked everything about her for as long as he could remember. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. If only she would notice him.
When the drawing was finished, Mariska put it in her portfolio (all the students had one, but hers was, not surprisingly, the thickest).
She turned around and locked eyes with the boy who was staring at her, opened her mouth to say something, then thought better of it.

She turned and walked away, pretending to be casual, but really, she was alarmed. Kyle gave her feelings she'd blocked out months ago. Feelings like trust.
Hours later, Janine tripped Mariska as she was heading for algebra. Her books flew out of her hands as mean Mr. Edwardson passed.
"Next time be more careful," he snapped. "Or mark my words, I'll expel you without looking back."

The next day was the same as usual: She got to school, ignored Janine, went to classes, and ignored Janine some more.
But today it was harder, because Janine was making her pathetic "Forgive me" face every time Mariska looked at her. No way would that jerk ever be close to her again!, Mariska decided.
At least the weekend was coming as she stepped out the front doors for the high school.
