Read-a-Thon #1 - (Hundred Thousand) Miles of Pages
Is this for everyone participating? It's my first Readathon with this group so I'm not clear on the rules/etc., but I thought we were being divided into teams.Also, do all books count for this part? ie, Audio, Children's, Art, Manga/Graphic

Allegra, only the team challenge is done in teams. Every other activity or game is for anyone to participate if they like. But you aren't required to participate in any or all games.Pages read in any type of book count toward this game. Audiobooks listened to may also be converted to pages read as well.
488 pages today (a novel in verse, and a graphic novel, otherwise there'd be no way my page count would be so high, lol!)

Two days in and you guys have really rocked it.
At 35,980,000 miles from the Sun, we flew by Mercury.
At 67,240,000 miles from the Sun, we flew by Venus.
At 92,960,000 miles from the Sun, we flew by Earth and we waved to all the lovely readers there.
At 141,600,000 miles from the Sun, we flew by Mars.
From 204,430,000 to 297,450,000 miles, we battled through the Asteroid Belt.
And for our last sight of the day, at 483,800,000 miles, we passed Jupiter.
Let's see how far tomorrow will take us.

This read-a-thon we're going to take our journey into outer space.
Because we're traveling at a different scale, for every page read, we get to travel a hundred thousand miles as a group. (That really makes you feel like you've accomplished something, doesn't it?)
