Read-a-Thon #1 - (Hundred Thousand) Miles of Pages

(Had several days that were terrible for reading, but finally had a good chunk of reading time on Saturday, which is when 2/3 of those pages came from.)

Part of me really wants to read some more, but I know I shouldn’t. So a comic it is, bringing the total of today to
367!

Pages read: 42,856
Miles traveled from the Sun: 4,285,600,000
At 890,800,000 miles from the Sun, we flew by Saturn.
And with 10,000 pages read, we have traveled one billion miles!
At 1,784,000,000 miles from the Sun, we flew by Uranus.
At 2,793,000,000 miles from the Sun, we flew by Neptune.
And with that, we've reached the last planet in our solar system. But we all still love Pluto, so of course we want to try to get there.
At 3,670,000,000 miles from the Sun, we flew by Pluto.
You guys have done so awesome, and made it all the way through our solar system during this read-a-thon, with about 600 million miles to spare!
Now at the farthest point of Pluto's orbit, it's 4.583 billion miles from the sun, and with about 3000 more pages, we'll make it to that farthest point. With the read-a-thon winding down, can we do it?

(that's my reading today combined with finishing an audio book over the course of a few days--there didn't seem to be a good way to count those pages as I went)

Pages read: 47,561
Miles traveled from the Sun: 4,756,100,000
And of course you guys could do it. At 4,583,000,000 miles from the Sun, we passed Pluto at the farthest point of its orbit. Now it's just open space for 4+ light years!
