What I remember is the girls mom is dead and was killed by monsters when she was little . This caused the Dad to obsess over monsters. She has a adoptive brother who I thinks family was killed by monsters that she has a crush on. She wants to escape the family so she decides to go to college. The brother tries to get her to stay and they kiss and he begs her to take a cell phone at least so they can find her. There’s a vampire or fae guy , who is the one who killed her mom, and has been watching her grow up. Something about how drinking her blood causes him to feel emotions which is a kind of high. Brother comes and finds her at school and is jealous she’s not in her room when he gets there and was with a guy. They somehow go to a different world and the brother gets hurt and a witch performs a spell to bind him as a werewolf to a master but switches the master from the main girl to herself in a sneaky way. The girl gives the vampire blood to disable him well he is feeling emotions and runs away. I think it ends with her jumping off a cliff, possibly into a new world.
