Alex | 200 comments I've noticed that many beta readers (and writers) don't post on their homepage the books they've read. It's hard to judge what might be appropriate for a beta (paid, unpaid or swap) without knowing the books and genres they've had experience with.

Sharon Umbaugh | 382 comments That's an excellent point! I'm an editor and beta reader and I always point the writer to my GoodReads bookshelf. It's an easy way to tell if writer and beta reader are a good match.

Jennifer Bourgeois (jennyboug) | 237 comments I do. I put all the books I read even the ones I beta read. The ones I beta read I post after they are published for the safety for the author.
