Rebecca (rebecita77) | 7 comments I am currently reading a book with three stories originally published separately. Would you count as one or three books?

Marc *Dark Reader with a Thousand Young! Iä!* (marcthedarc) | 660 comments Three! Unless you would not have counted each one had you read them as published separately, like if they were each short novellas that didn't really deserve their own binding each. But for something like, say, the Area X trilogy, or Lord of the Rings, for goodness sake count them as separate books. Any story over 60,000 words published separately counts in my estimation.

I would do the same as Kristin. We also have a thread where a lot of people have given their opinion on this: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
