So excited this made the cut! I’m going to download and jump in after I finish the book I’m on. It sounds amazing!
I bought this one some time ago on a Kindle Daily Deal so I'm definitely in.
Can a mod add the book title to the thread title so we remember which group read it is? (And for the other monthly read.)

We aim to please. :)

I got this one a little early and blew right through it. For the most part I enjoyed it. It certainly had some twists at the end, although most of them I kinda saw coming, as I picked up on clues throughout the story. I must admit I don't fully get the ending though. Some of it just didn't make sense.
And one other complaint I had was the utterly false statements made regarding the planet Venus early in the story. (Not a spoiler, just a conversational line that bugged me.)

I've never heard of this one, but it looks promising. I'm going to try to go into it knowing as little as possible.
Just finished and I’m not sure how I feel about it. I had to force myself to read the first quarter of the book. I kept wondering what the book was about exactly and when it was going to pick up. The last half caught me and I had to finish. Not due to that sitting on the edge of my seat in anticipation feeling, more so because I needed to know what was going on. I’m with Alan when he said that some of it didn’t make sense. I’m left a bit confused. I know a lot of people who enjoy this type of read so I will certainly recommend it to them.
I am going to be reading this but I am not sure when I will start. I am juggling all the group reads I want to read this month.
It was just ok. I suspected what was going on relatively early in the book. The first 2/3 of the book just dragged, and the last 1/3 was too rushed. I wish that there had been a happy medium somewhere between the two.
I finished. I liked it. The clues are there but they are not obvious until you get to the end. There are also a lot of misdirections to make you question what is going on.I didn’t re-read the book’s blurb and I wasn’t sure what the book was supposed to be about. I like going in though and not knowing what’s going on.

Same here. I avoid the blurb as much as I can.
I finished it and loved it, not knowing what is going on (I avoided reading other reviews). There are scenes that creeped me out! The ending is definitely love it or hate it.
Just started this last night and, like everyone else here...I've got no clue what's going on. I like his writing style though.
Page 1, she's thinking of ending things.....pg. 63, she's still thinking of ending things. I wish she'd hurry up and make up her friggin' mind.
Kind of disappointed with this one. It was okay and had the potential to be better but just fell short. I enjoyed the commentary but It just lacked substance.

My review, 3 stars, no spoilers....seriously, I can't spoil it for you. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Such a strange book! I was pretty anxious throughout the entire story, until the end. I’m still confused. However, IMDB says Brie Larson and Jessie Plemons will star in the movie adaptation. Maybe it’ll explain more?
I was intrigued in the beginning but I thought the end was such a cop out. I felt like it was ramping up to something creepy multiple times but I ended up very disappointed.
I loved this book with a passion, but as a (view spoiler) it was kind of tailored to my lived experience.
I am about a third of the way through this one and it’s still going pretty slow for me. I generally don’t have an issue with that but I’m also just not sure what the over arching story is supposed to be at this point. I feel like we’re circling around a thing instead of building up to one. That is kind of frustrating. But I’ll probably finish it today so, we’ll see.
