Angelina I love romance novels…but I have a hard time finding ones that aren't "fifty shades of grey-esque" and YA. For about a year and a half I've been trying to get away from YA books…but all that seems to be left are romance books that has a crazy sex scene in every chapter. I don't want something so…raunchy. Any suggestions? Books and authors. Thanks!!

Have you tried searching under NA (New Adult) those seem to be in-between Erotica & YA

Megan I was going to suggest NA too. I like it a lot but after reading so many the story lines get a tad repetitive.

Mrsbooks I just read The Sweet Gum Tree by Katherine Allred , Take This Regret (Take This Regret, #1) by A.L. Jackson and Slammed (Slammed, #1) by Colleen Hoover . All of which had little sex and what was was not described in great detail. All were excellent.

Oh yeah... To All the Boys I've Loved Before (To All the Boys I've Loved Before, #1) by Jenny Han . This ones awesome too.

I read Slammed. It was great. And thanks for the suggestions!

Mochaspresso I can't really recommend any books or authors because I prefer raunchy, but it sounds like you might have a preference for "clean romance." Have you tried searching under that genre?

Mochaspresso Actually, Hopeless (Hopeless, #1) by Colleen Hoover was very good and it was not raunchy. There is some sex but isn't overly graphic, imo.

Katrina Jay Easy (Contours of the Heart, #1) by Tammara Webber Breakable (Contours of the Heart, #2) by Tammara Webber I don't remember those 2 books being overtly raunchy and I liked them. Colleen Hoover also has several decent books as well.

Mrsbooks Loved Easy too! Losing It (Losing It, #1) by Cora Carmack was good too.

Cora Carmack has some great ones as well :)

Katrina Jay Breathe (Sea Breeze, #1) by Abbi Glines Because of Low (Sea Breeze, #2) by Abbi Glines While It Lasts (Sea Breeze, #3) by Abbi Glines Those are just a few in the series, but there are several. I read the first one and really liked it.

Thanks so much!

Julia Miller I suggest Beautiful Disaster. It's just enough detail to make your heart race without the tmi. I also like the Shatter Me trilogy! It is YA but it kind of breaks the typical boundaries of YA novels also the writing is beautiful!

Crystal i think jill mansell writes really great chick lit. she's not raunchy at all and most of her characters are mid 20s to early 30s. her stories are entertaining and always fun. plus she has so many books so you'll have quite a few to choose from.

i read miranda's big mistake, rumor has it and millie's fling first i believe and i've been hooked on her ever since. read one of her books and let me know what you think!

I have read several series that might interest you:
Catherine Bybee's weekday series (Taken by Tuesday, etc.) There are a few sex scenes, but just a few.
Gayle Forman's series (just one day, year, night) LOVELY
Tracy Brogan's novels...connected, but you don't have to read them all...a few sex scenes, but a lot of humor.
Katie Graykowski's Texas themed books...really cute and funny.
Hope that helps!

Voulag Killing Sarai!! I strongly recommend you this book!
