Fallen Academy
question
Why is this book so popular

I'm really curious as to why this book is so popular. I keep wondering if I read the same book because I've never hated a book more. Can someone please tell me what they loved about the book?

Honestly I was wondering the same thing. I was drawn into the story for the plot, Demons and Angels fighting and Bri is part of both I was so into it. I was hoping for a lot of enternal struggle of her being good and bad (Kind of Like Evil Elena in the vampire diaries) but in never happened. And then the conflict, I was like ok this kind of sucks but it will get better, as the book goes on it will get better, 1 page from the end I don't think the conflict is going to get any better. Truly a let down.
Omg the last comment on this was from SIX YEARS AGO. But I feel the need to express my intense hatred for this book. It's just so awful! I read the whole thing expecting it to get better, but it just gradually started getting worse. There wasn't really any storyline to it other than an 18-year-old white girl who grew up in the "hood" obsessing over her emotionally distant boyfriend and her extremely stereotypical (almost borderline racistly so) Puerto Rican friend. Any scraps of storyline that were added to the book, were poorly placed over in like five pages and we're just overall so terrible!!
I was into it until Brielle's handler died. After that, it became more "Brielle's Adventures" than a cohesive story.
This is marketed as Vampire Academy meets Harry Potter, so maybe people just like reading clones of other books.
