Thanks, Suzanne. I definitely want to try for Moon Called.... seems like everyone but me has read that series!

Nancy H | 1113 comments Hi Sonja,
I LOVE my picks, and have already finished one, which was excellent! It was Murder at Honeychurch Hall Murder at Honeychurch Hall (Honeychurch Hall Mystery, #1) by Hannah Dennison . I can't wait to read the next one in that series to see if the MC develops a romance with a policeman, after her bad romance in this one!

But in the meantime, I have started 8 more of the picks you gave me! Needless to say, I usually read more than one book at a time!

Just saw your message about the 'chocolate' book. Did you get it? If so, I can start whenever you want. You can put a message here or PM me.

EIGHT books, Nancy?!? *faints* I'm barely reading the two I have currently! I need to switch it up and read A Curious Beginning as it's due back to the library today. EEP! Looks like I'll be pulling my Kindle offline for a few days! I am going to pick up Chocolate #2 tonight, but I don't know that I can start it for another week. I'd ask if you mind, but I'm thinking you're already well occupied! LOL Shall we say middle of the month or towards the end? LMK!
And SUPER glad you are enjoying your picks!!

Sonja (sonjac) | 1366 comments Great job everyone!

I'm doing a terrible job at reading this month! I haven't even finished my first book! :(

message 113: by Nancy H (last edited Mar 15, 2019 10:26AM) (new)

Nancy H | 1113 comments Hi Sonja,
I have finished a couple more picks, plus a few extras!

In addition to the first one, previously mentioned, I have finished Delicious and Suspicious, A Most Extraordinary Pursuit, and Another One Bites the Crust. Because that one was not the one I was on in that series, I read two others to get caught up: Fudge and Jury and A Crime of Passion Fruit. After I finished the 'Crust' one, I was so into the series that I went ahead and read the next one, Till Death Do Us Tart. (Can you tell I love this series?!? Plus, it makes me want to eat cake and dessert and then more cake!!)

Also, I read Murder at the Brightwell, which is the one right before the one on my picks list (Death Wears a Mask), but I have now started that one.

Interesting note on the romance in two of these series: There is an estranged husband who wants to get back together with the wife, who is the main character. Maybe. lol. And there is another interested man in the picture also. Hmmm......

I have been having a lovely reading month! I still have four more started and hopefully will get them all done before the end of the month. Also, I have the 'Chocolate' one on my tablet, so we can do a Buddy Read with that one when you are ready. Just let me know. You mentioned reading "A Curious Beginning" by Deanna Raybourn and please continue it if you haven't finished it! I LOVE that series but they just aren't published fast enough for me - lol!!

Completed from my pick list:
Murder at Honeychurch Hall (Honeychurch Hall Mystery, #1) by Hannah Dennison Delicious and Suspicious (A Memphis BBQ Mystery, #1) by Riley Adams A Most Extraordinary Pursuit (Emmaline Truelove, #1) by Juliana Gray Another One Bites the Crust (A Bakeshop Mystery #7) by Ellie Alexander

Completed to 'catch up' to ones on the list:
Fudge and Jury (A Bakeshop Mystery, #5) by Ellie Alexander A Crime of Passion Fruit (Bakeshop Mystery #6) by Ellie Alexander Murder at the Brightwell (Amory Ames Mystery, #1) by Ashley Weaver

I’ve read 3 of your picks:
1. Snow Angel Cove
2. And Only to Deceive
3. A Discovery of Witches- really happy I read this! It seems like a lot of the people in the thread would recommend it & I always balked because it was a chunkster & I’m a slow reader (❤️Library audiobook❤️....mammerjammer was 24 hours though😋)
Snow Angel Cove (Haven Point, #1) by RaeAnne Thayne And Only to Deceive (Lady Emily, #1) by Tasha Alexander A Discovery of Witches (All Souls Trilogy, #1) by Deborah Harkness

I’m still working on 😍 Off the Leash (White House Protection Force #1) by M.L. Buchman 😍, & The Light Over London by Julia Kelly & hope to finish them soon.
Thanks for the picks!!

Sonja (sonjac) | 1366 comments AH me! What a terrible hostess I've been! Last week was hectic at work and home with little league games, soccer games and my parents arriving.

And then I got sick... like SICK... I could barely move for two days! Not the flu, Strep! *curses* Luckily my parents were here and whisked the kids away immediately and they appear to have escaped the plague. *snickering* I'm on antibiotics and out of quarantine, but still tired and lethargic. At least I got some reading in!
Now to get caught up....
