I LOVE my picks, and have already finished one, which was excellent! It was Murder at Honeychurch Hall

But in the meantime, I have started 8 more of the picks you gave me! Needless to say, I usually read more than one book at a time!
Just saw your message about the 'chocolate' book. Did you get it? If so, I can start whenever you want. You can put a message here or PM me.

EIGHT books, Nancy?!? *faints* I'm barely reading the two I have currently! I need to switch it up and read A Curious Beginning as it's due back to the library today. EEP! Looks like I'll be pulling my Kindle offline for a few days! I am going to pick up Chocolate #2 tonight, but I don't know that I can start it for another week. I'd ask if you mind, but I'm thinking you're already well occupied! LOL Shall we say middle of the month or towards the end? LMK!
And SUPER glad you are enjoying your picks!!

I hope you like your picks! if you want to change anything just let me know.

Hi Elke,
I have read two picks so far this month Intentions of the Earl and 44. Both have been parked on my kindle since 2012 so thank you for nudging me to read them. Both were enjoyable.

Now I am going to move on and read a few of the new to me picks you gave me.
Hope your weekend is wonderful!

On to pick #3!!

Hi Jessi!
I finished Board Resolution from your picks for me. I always love Joey Hill.....thanks for the pick! I'm going to try and get in another one this month :)

I'm doing a terrible job at reading this month! I haven't even finished my first book! :(

I have finished a couple more picks, plus a few extras!
In addition to the first one, previously mentioned, I have finished Delicious and Suspicious, A Most Extraordinary Pursuit, and Another One Bites the Crust. Because that one was not the one I was on in that series, I read two others to get caught up: Fudge and Jury and A Crime of Passion Fruit. After I finished the 'Crust' one, I was so into the series that I went ahead and read the next one, Till Death Do Us Tart. (Can you tell I love this series?!? Plus, it makes me want to eat cake and dessert and then more cake!!)
Also, I read Murder at the Brightwell, which is the one right before the one on my picks list (Death Wears a Mask), but I have now started that one.
Interesting note on the romance in two of these series: There is an estranged husband who wants to get back together with the wife, who is the main character. Maybe. lol. And there is another interested man in the picture also. Hmmm......
I have been having a lovely reading month! I still have four more started and hopefully will get them all done before the end of the month. Also, I have the 'Chocolate' one on my tablet, so we can do a Buddy Read with that one when you are ready. Just let me know. You mentioned reading "A Curious Beginning" by Deanna Raybourn and please continue it if you haven't finished it! I LOVE that series but they just aren't published fast enough for me - lol!!

I'm glad you enjoyed them Laura!

I’ve read 3 of your picks:
1. Snow Angel Cove
2. And Only to Deceive
3. A Discovery of Witches- really happy I read this! It seems like a lot of the people in the thread would recommend it & I always balked because it was a chunkster & I’m a slow reader (❤️Library audiobook❤️....mammerjammer was 24 hours though😋)

I’m still working on 😍

Thanks for the picks!!

And then I got sick... like SICK... I could barely move for two days! Not the flu, Strep! *curses* Luckily my parents were here and whisked the kids away immediately and they appear to have escaped the plague. *snickering* I'm on antibiotics and out of quarantine, but still tired and lethargic. At least I got some reading in!
Now to get caught up....

Oh oh OH Nancy! You've been a busy little reader! GREAT for you!!! That series sounded fascinating and I might have to see if my library has it!
Yep, I finished A Curious Beginning while in quarantine this week and LOVED it! Eagerly ready for book two!
I am finishing an audiobook and one other this week, but what say we start Chocolate Kiss next Monday? It'll be a nice ending to the month! :)

Hi Carina!
By this evening I'll have finished 3! WOOOHOO!!!

I have really enjoyed this challenge. It introduced me to new authors and encouraged me out of my comfort zone.
I have currently read 6 books from my list. Still a couple more days in the month so will give full update at the end of the month.

GREAT job Dale! Esp considering how busy you've been!

I managed to get 4 books this month. Most of them were really enjoyable. I only disliked I Owe You One and that was because of annoying character. Overall, though, it was a great month of reading. Thanks for the picks!

I tried to pick a good variety and many of the picks are cheap or free on Kindle US but I don’t know if they are in the UK. 🤞

I finished a few more to round out the month, and I am so sorry that I didn't see your message about Chocolate Kiss until just now! I will send you a PM to see if you already read it or want to still Buddy Read it, because I haven't read it yet, even though the month has changed.
I have finished How to Wash a Cat; Death Wears a Mask; Naughty on Ice, as well as Gin and Panic, which I needed to catch up to the Ice one; also The Great Alone and 'Til Death Do Us Part, which I needed to catch up to another pick (but didn't get as far as that actual one).
Here are the others that I read, and I must thank you for such a great pick list. Because of a good month time-wise, I was able to read more this month than I have in a long time - if not ever!

Glad you enjoyed them! I know - isn't it terrible when a perfectly good book is ruined by an annoying character? - lol
