I've been reading away, but getting sick and suddenly having an unexpected load of work dumped on me slowed me down... I've got a review to write, but as that is for round 2, I need to wait to post it on the review thread :)

But yeah I had to stick to the most popular books on my shelf, I tried asking for BRs for less popular books and got zero responses.

Exams suck so bad, I'm going to have to sit the April challenge out because of exams.

I am really regretting my book choices, I don't know why I picked so many 600+ page books but it was definitely a dumb idea.

I'm going to take 48. FALL off my list if anyone wants that one!

I just finished We are the ants (2nd round) and I'll try to finish Unhooked after that. I'm at 37% right now. I need to pick another audiobook as well.

I'm having an amazing reading month! This is the most books I've read by this point in the month for a long time :)

I was a tad behind but I just finished Heartless in under 24 hours, I can always count on Marissa Meyer to make me binge read a book.

Hey, I just finished Aurora Rising. I put it on the second round. I might not read To kill a kingdom and the bird king if you need the slots, you can take them.

Does anyone mind if I have a look and try to make some switches between board 1 and finished books on board 2? Would be good if we could flip the board once before the end of the month :D

Yeah that would be good! I mean we're kinda hopelessly behind now so might as well go with getting Round 1 completed as an end goal, I'd be pretty happy with that :D

How do people get so many freaking buddy reads??? I started looking for buddy reads immediately after the challenge was announced and I still only managed for find ones for the most popular of my options.

Going to try to leave the ones that have bonus points but here's what I did:

Moved We Are the Ants by Shaun David Hutchison (Kelly) to #30
Moved Undying (Tati) to #24
Switched Tati's Critical with mine since she's already finished #38

This is all I could do at the moment, so if you do have any that you don't think you'll finish, please move them to the second board so I can have a look at switching a few more :)

I only have about 100 pages left of The Assassin's Blade and am more than halfway through The Word is Murder.

My last book is Strange the Dreamer which is super long but I'll have all weekend to read it so it should be fine.

Just as a little snapshot, these are the ones we have left on the first board. Fingers crossed we might just finish it! If anyone isn't going to get to any, now is the time to speak up and maybe we can reorganise a little bit! :D

That'll be my last book of the challenge! :) I was hoping to finish Stronger, Faster and More Beautiful too but it's almost midnight here in the UK and I don't think we'll finish the board anyway. I had a really good reading month though and read more than usual, so even though we're definitely coming last, thanks for all the encouragement to read more! :D

I finished Unhooked but I won't be finishing All our yesterdays in March unfortunately ! Yeah, we were last but that's okay (at least to me haha) I don't really mind as long as the challenge keeps us reading :)

Are you guys doing the april challenge? I didn't really look at the teams yet.

Finished! I ended up reading 1 less book than originally planned but a few of the books I read were super long, so that makes up for it.

I'm pretty happy with how I did overall.

I don't understand how people are managing to read upwards of 30 books in a month though. HOW??? I spent like every spare minute of January reading and I only got through 22 books.

To read 30 books I'd need to constantly listen to audiobooks. It's even better if you can listen to them while at work but I personally can't do that :( Or maybe they're just really fast readers.

Probably a combo of both. Usually the really fast readers both listen and read whenever possible. Like in the car or on the bus. :)
