✨Skye✨ | 3107 comments Hi Tati! The link to our ss is on the first post if you want to have a look and see if we need to move anything around :)

Great news guys, you're all checked in (again!)

message 58: by Tati (new)

Tati I've added a few books to the spreadsheet for now, and have finished my first book.

message 59: by Haris (new)

Haris Jablan (luta) | 871 comments Sorry, I'm starting late. I'll start and finish reading my first book today (the one for round 1)

message 60: by Claire (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments I'm a tiny bit behind schedule but with some luck I should be able to both finish my current book and start+finish my 9 hour book tomorrow.

message 61: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 1350 comments I'll finish mine tonight! :)

☆☆Hannah☆☆ | 6596 comments I'm getting ready to post my first book. I should have another one read by tonight or tomorrow morning.

message 63: by Haris (last edited Mar 02, 2019 12:34PM) (new)

Haris Jablan (luta) | 871 comments Done with one book, it's a 3 pointer sadly

message 64: by ✨Skye✨ (new)

✨Skye✨ | 3107 comments I've finished one of my arcs that I'd apparently forgotten to put on the spreadsheet-it doesn't actually seem to fit much. I have noticed though, if we move Hannah's Dark Nebula from #52 (female main character)to #63 (letters N E A R in the title) which is currently blank, I can use my book for 52 and post it now. Is that okay?

message 65: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 1350 comments I finished White stag. That's 6 points. I'll try to start something else but it's 11pm so we'll see.

message 66: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 1350 comments I'm starting All our yesterdays this morning!

message 67: by Kelly (last edited Mar 03, 2019 01:04AM) (new)

Kelly | 1350 comments I took out a few of my books that don't have a BR from the spreadsheet. That way we could prioritize BRs and bonus points.

message 68: by Kelly (last edited Mar 03, 2019 01:32AM) (new)

Kelly | 1350 comments I'll try to listen to some audiobooks (with a BR planned). Those are available on Scribd:

Chase the Dark (Steel & Stone, #1) by Annette Marie The Jewel (The Lone City, #1) by Amy Ewing What If It's Us by Becky Albertalli Circle of Shadows (Circle of Shadows, #1) by Evelyn Skye Girls Made of Snow and Glass by Melissa Bashardoust The Bear and the Nightingale (Winternight Trilogy, #1) by Katherine Arden We Set the Dark on Fire (We Set the Dark on Fire #1) by Tehlor Kay Mejia The Healer's Apprentice (Hagenheim, #1) by Melanie Dickerson Grave Mercy (His Fair Assassin, #1) by Robin LaFevers The Binding by Bridget Collins Four Dead Queens by Astrid Scholte Dividing Eden (Dividing Eden, #1) by Joelle Charbonneau You by Caroline Kepnes Radio Silence by Alice Oseman We Are the Ants by Shaun David Hutchinson Our Dark Duet (Monsters of Verity, #2) by Victoria Schwab The Serpent King by Jeff Zentner Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda (Creekwood, #1) by Becky Albertalli Nevernight (The Nevernight Chronicle, #1) by Jay Kristoff Truly Devious (Truly Devious, #1) by Maureen Johnson Only a Breath Apart by Katie McGarry Mirage (Mirage, #1) by Somaiya Daud

message 69: by Claire (last edited Mar 03, 2019 05:40AM) (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments I finished Crown of Midnight (No. 5 - 10 points)

Around halfway through The Elite, will easily finish it in less than the 9 hours (No 20. - 4 points + Bonus)

Not sure if I'll be able to have the reviews up tonight now will have them up tomorrow morning at the latest!

Skye are you ready to start the BR for Soulless? :D

message 70: by Claire (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments @Kelly Row 7 Column G of the spreadsheet is the wrong formula and it's protected so I can't edit it, can you please fix it? Thank you!

message 71: by ✨Skye✨ (new)

✨Skye✨ | 3107 comments Yes I'll start when I get home from work! :) I don't think it matters so much about brs as we don't even have a full board yet with non-br books, so I guess if you've finished a book may as well post it regardless:)

message 72: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 1350 comments Claire wrote: "@Kelly Row 7 Column G of the spreadsheet is the wrong formula and it's protected so I can't edit it, can you please fix it? Thank you!"

Done.

message 73: by Claire (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments Awesome! No rush, I'm going to sleep soon when I finish The Elite so I won't be starting it for like another 12 hours :D

message 74: by Claire (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments Thanks Kelly!

☆☆Hannah☆☆ | 6596 comments @Skye...Yes you can move my book. Since you have somewhere else on the sheet to put it.

message 76: by Sarah Elizabeth (new)

Sarah Elizabeth (bookworm_sarah) | 90964 comments Mod
Hello everybody, just so everybody knows, for number 20, if you're going for the bonus and reading a book in less than 9 hours 23 minutes, please do a status update at 0% once you have marked the book as currently reading, and then another status update at 99% before marking the book as finished. If you do this Goodreads will log the time when you were at 0%, and again at 99%, which will show how long you were reading the book for, which will allow us to give you the bonus points ☺

message 77: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 1350 comments I just finished my second book Chase the dark! I'm going to try and read some more of All our yesterdays or start listening to another audiobook. I'm not sure yet.

message 78: by Claire (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments @Kelly - 7M is also the wrong formula, sorry, I'm not sure what happened to that row.

Finished and posted my 2nd book, I'm finally on schedule!

My next one is Soulless (Parasol Protectorate, #1) by Gail Carriger and I am super excited for it!

message 79: by ✨Skye✨ (new)

✨Skye✨ | 3107 comments Just a quick thought if anybody is interested-I've picked out a few random ones to fill a couple of the more difficult categories and just thought that maybe if someone will BR them with me, that would fill the category for round 2 as well.
These are the ones I don't have BRs for if anyone is interested:

#24-Beginning with U or D Dear Mrs Bird by A.J. Pearce or Dumplin' (Dumplin' #1) by Julie Murphy
#33-3 books 200-300 pages My Sister, the Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes Her Body and Other Parties by Carmen Maria Machado
#41-Letters B O E S in title Stronger, Faster, and More Beautiful by Arwen Elys Dayton
#44-Word tree in title for bonus points The Twisted Tree by Rachel Burge
#55-Letters A X E in title Baxter's Requiem by Matthew Crow

message 80: by ✨Skye✨ (new)

✨Skye✨ | 3107 comments I finished 1/3 of my 200-300 page books but I think I'll post all 3 of them together when I'm done to avoid any confusion :)

message 81: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 1350 comments That's great Skye :)

I didn't read anything yet today and unfortunately I'll be really busy with work this week but after that I'll catch up!

message 82: by Haris (new)

Haris Jablan (luta) | 871 comments I'll try to finish up at least three book for this week. I kinda messed up my schedule haha

message 83: by Claire (last edited Mar 04, 2019 04:56PM) (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments Didn't get much reading done last night because I'm super behind on my studies but I've caught up so now it's back to reading!

I might have scheduled 1 too many buddy reads for early this month but hopefully it will just be more motivation :D

message 84: by ✨Skye✨ (new)

✨Skye✨ | 3107 comments I'm absolutely useless with spreadsheets and have a tendency of destroying them so I don't really want to mess around with it, but does anyone know how to maybe add an extra 2 rows for #33 so I can put a book in each row? (the one where you have to read 3 books for 1 category)

message 85: by Tati (new)

Tati if you use Alt+Enter, you can put them in the same cell, but in different lines

message 86: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 1350 comments Sorry I still don't have another book completed :( Work has taken over my life. But I'm currently reading 4 books (one ebook, one audio, 2 physical copies) so when I'm done with them it'll bring some points :) Anyway, hope you're enjoying your reading, guys.

message 87: by Claire (last edited Mar 08, 2019 03:09AM) (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments I actually got invited to something tonight (it's a miracle) but I will hopefully get to spend most of this long weekend reading and getting ahead for a bit!

message 88: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 1350 comments I finished Dividing Eden yesterday and today I finished Radio Silence. It feels so nice and productive to post again! ^^

message 89: by ✨Skye✨ (new)

✨Skye✨ | 3107 comments Not sure how much I'll read this weekend, I'm at work in the day tomorrow then off for a few drinks with friends in the evening :) (and for any concerned Americans, it's legal to drink at 18 here in the UK!)

Haris Jablan (luta) | 871 comments Wrapped up one book, starting now Armada by Ernest Cline as it was DNFed before. I should wrap this one up tonight / morning and then onto my third book for the weekend. I'm so sorry I'm slow but I had to work 12h per day for the past week and I was just tired as f*ck

And @Skye I had my first beer when I was 14. Shameful but it was from my uncle after I ended my first relationship :D

message 92: by ✨Skye✨ (new)

✨Skye✨ | 3107 comments Anyone up for BRing Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid ?

message 93: by ✨Skye✨ (new)

✨Skye✨ | 3107 comments I've just realised that An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks is actually tagged romance so I can't use it for that category :( Is anyone good logistically and could notice where a switch could be made? xD

message 94: by Claire (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments You could use it for 49. 2 people on the cover?

message 95: by Kelly (last edited Mar 21, 2019 07:55AM) (new)

You got so much :D
I finished 5 books but they all are without BRs so my points are pathetically low.

message 97: by Claire (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments That's completely understandable though since you replaced in and didn't have much time to organise buddy reads! It took me over half of Feb to set up mine.

My weekend ended up being busier than expected but I'll be able to finish my 6th book tonight.

I didn't replace in haha. Tho I didn't have any time because of my exams and I was busy up until the 20th February or so

message 99: by ✨Skye✨ (new)

✨Skye✨ | 3107 comments It was Tati who replaced in xD I can find it hard to find buddy reads sometimes for books I really want to read that aren't as well known :( happens a lot lately

Well in this group only YA fantasy and romance can easily get a BR. For other genres it's somewhat tougher
