Claire Chibi | 1826 comments Hello, thank you Anna!

This is the spreadsheet I'm working on:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...

- Everything with a tick on the right side means that I should have at least 1 book that will satisfy the criteria. (There's only a few that I absolutely can't find anything for)
- The ones with a tick under 'Bonus' means that I have a book that satisfies the bonus criteria.
- Blue text means that I can maybe get a hold of that book, but it might be difficult.
- Text in gray are notes, btw feel free to list any books that you guys have given up for No. 25.
- Book titles under 'Book Details' are just my notes for possible reads, it's incomplete.
- The 'Want to Read' column are the specific books I've picked out that fit the criteria and I am keen to read, also incomplete.
- The books highlighted in yellow are the ones that I would especially love to read in March.

I'm going to aim for reading 15 books during the challenge but I can only 100% guarantee that I will read at least 12.

✨Skye✨ | 3107 comments Hi team!

message 8: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 1350 comments For the n.25 (the given up books), one of us has to read a book someone on the team didn't finish (dnf), right? Or does it mean something else?

message 9: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 1350 comments If that's the case, I have a DNF shelf you can check out :) https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...

I think so! I dnf books fairly often so can post some options xD

message 11: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 1350 comments I just saw that Ashleigh has Slayer (Slayer, #1) by Kiersten White as "dnf". I wanted to listen to the audiobook of that one so I can take that category unless one of you guys want it.

Kelly | 1350 comments Claire, I can't write on the spreadsheet :S

I think it might be Claire's personal ss she's been using, I think we have to make a group one :)

message 14: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 1350 comments Ok, here's one. Let me know if you can access it / change it.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...

message 15: by Claire (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments Oh yes I wasn't clear, those are just my notes, I used the spreadsheet because it had all the info in it already.

I gotta go to sleep but I'll be back in like 8ish hours!

☆☆Hannah☆☆ | 6596 comments Checking in!

☆☆Hannah☆☆ | 6596 comments This spreadsheet sucks. I'm letting you all know now that between March 1-3 I will be doing:

#7 - Man on the cover. - Royally Screwed (Royally, #1) by Emma Chase

#49 - Couple/2 people on the cover. - The Real Deal by Lauren Blakely

#65 - Romance novel. - Come to Me Recklessly (Closer to You, #3) by A.L. Jackson ( I will get the +5 for this book.)

What makes you say that?

message 19: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 1350 comments I added a few books to the spreadsheet but if any of you want the categories I put mine in, you can change them. Just let me know. I'm not really picky to the books I'm going to read and I can always find something else.

☆☆Hannah☆☆ | 6596 comments I'll update this later. I didn't realize there was more tabs.

I actually think it's awesome. Everything's there

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments I just love spreadsheets in general :D

I'm happy to do the bonus for either/both of the time sensitive ones (10 and 20).

March 1st 12am PST is at 7pm for me so I'll have all Friday evening to do that one, and I can definitely finish a book in 9 hours on a weekend.

I put my name down for 20 since it's easier but I'm happy to switch to 10 if anyone wants!

That's my goal of 15 on the board now :D

message 24: by Claire (last edited Feb 21, 2019 05:08PM) (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments Oof, I just realised that my book for No. 70 is only worth 1 point. If someone has a better choice then please feel free to swap with me!

The rule for illustrations is so harsh, the illustrations only take up like 10-15 pages total 😭

☆☆Hannah☆☆ | 6596 comments I've added 15 books to the spreadsheet.

message 26: by Claire (last edited Feb 21, 2019 10:55PM) (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments Oh right Skye you wanted to buddy read Soulless right? I'm using it for 18, you could use it for 45 or something? My copy will be here in the next few days so we can start it whenever in March works for you :D

message 27: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 1350 comments Also, even if we can't find a place for a book in the first round, we can always put in the second one! :)

Yep, I was just about to reply to everyone on the thread! Do you want to say the 3rd?Just off the top of my head :)

message 29: by Claire (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments Sounds good to me!

I think I'll chuck the rest of my reading list onto the thread, might as well.

I just added 2-3 books randomly. I'll do some research and post everything I want to read in a couple of days

Great news guys, you're all checked in ☺

message 35: by Claire (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments @Skye here's the BR for Soulless: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Please note that we have made a slight change to one of the descriptions -
38. The Goblin King warns Hoggle that if he disobeys, he'll drop him into the Bog of Eternal Stench, and he'll do the same if Sarah ever kisses him.
- No kissing allowed! Read a book which is not tagged 'romance' (at all).
EDIT: As long as your book is not tagged 'romance' on the first 10 pages of tags, we will count it ☺

message 37: by Claire (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments Hey guys, does anyone want to do No. 70? My book is only worth 1 point despite being 300 pages with like 10 pages of illustrations so I kinda cbf.

I was thinking of changing to:
1. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer
or
26. The Assassin's Blade
or
41. Shadow and Bone
Depending on what books you guys end up picking.

Also I might switch Cress to No.3 if Cinder counts as a main character in that book since then I can get the bonus points.

Hello Team Sarah, I'm afraid that Ashleigh has had to pull out of the challenge unexpectedly. I don't have anybody on the waiting list, but I will be looking for a new team member for you ☺

message 39: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 1350 comments So... since Ashleigh isn't on our team anymore... my book for the 'given up' category doesn't work :/ (It was Slayer)

message 40: by ✨Skye✨ (new)

✨Skye✨ | 3107 comments I have a few suggestions for the dnf if anyone likes the sound of any of these xD

Frankenstein by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley Pivot Point (Pivot Point, #1) by Kasie West Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1) by Susan Ee The Ultimatum (The Guardian, #1) by Karen Robards Bloody Brilliant Women by Cathy Newman Armada by Ernest Cline Elizabeth Is Missing by Emma Healey

message 41: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 1350 comments I might end up DNFing Pulp by Robin Talley and Once Upon a River by Diane Setterfield . I've been "currently reading" them for so long... They're just so slow :/

message 42: by Claire (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments Wish I could help but I haven't DNF'd any books since my high school designated reading. I'm a bit of a completionist.

message 43: by Haris (new)

Haris Jablan (luta) | 871 comments Claire wrote: "Wish I could help but I haven't DNF'd any books since my high school designated reading. I'm a bit of a completionist."

I know your feel. Even the books I have technically "DNFed" I wrote down where I was and plan on continuing.

Anyhow, I'll read Armada by Ernest Cline for the DNFed prompt.

Also, can you all post yoru suggestions on the possibility sheet in the excel file? 'cause I kinda bookmarked that sheet and don't read much here haha

message 44: by ✨Skye✨ (new)

✨Skye✨ | 3107 comments Hi team! Excited to start :) Just wanted to add that you can feel free to move my stuff around on the spreadsheet as I'm definitely being overly ambitious with my reading. Just let me know on this chat that you've done so :)

message 45: by Claire (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments Less than 6 hours to go! I'm finishing off my final book for the Feb challenge right now and then immediately gonna get started on this one :D

message 46: by Claire (last edited Feb 28, 2019 09:49PM) (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments For all but one of my picks I have a BR and/or get bonus points, so I'd rather not move those around.

If anyone else wants No. 48 in particular though, feel free to switch with me, but do tell me first please!

message 47: by Claire (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments It has begun!

I'm starting with Crown of Midnight (Throne of Glass, #2) by Sarah J. Maas for No. 5 :D

message 48: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 1350 comments I'm starting White Stag :)

message 49: by ✨Skye✨ (new)

✨Skye✨ | 3107 comments First book (the one that had to be finished by 13:00 PST) read and posted :) I have a couple reads from last month to finish for page points.

message 50: by Claire (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments Amazing job Skye!

I have the whole day off tomorrow so I'll either finish off Crown of Midnight or do the read a book in 9 hours and 23 minutes.
