I know right!! Have you got/read The True Story of Maddie Bright? I just finished it and loved it and think you would too. I was putting it aside with you in mind since I felt a little bad about the The Shepherd's Hut.

I got TTSOMB from Deborah this time, Kerri. And yes, I think I’ll like it too!

And don’t feel bad about The Shepherd’s Hut! That’s just how the surprise book swap works! It might be that I’ll really like it once I start it. And if not - then I’ll know for sure rather than just saying I don’t like Tim Winton! And there’s nothing to say you’ll like your book either - and it came from me, I think! But that’s the nature of reading - it’s always a bit of a gamble!

I know it's luck of the draw, but I still like to hope people get something they'll enjoy. You might be pleasantly surprised, I was given SH as a gift, I would never have bought it for myself and wasn't expecting to like it, but I did.
