Just bought October's book and downloaded it on my kindle....I'll be starting it tommorrow October 1st 👍👍👍👍👍
@Lauren Thanks! I was just wondering why I couldn't find it on audible. I'm surprised it's not on there.
scratch that. I dont see it on Scribd. I'm disappointed there isn't an audio for this. its prob gonna take me weeks to read now.
Hello everyone! I am new to this book club, and i am very excited! I did have a question though. Not sure if anyone can answer my question, but ill give it a shot. I am a court reporting student. In school we read through and practiced writing, what i believe to be, all of the transcripts from the of the official Iceman case. Would anyone happen to know if there is any overlapping material? I am a little behind, since its the middle of October already, and i might just wait to jump in at the beginning of November. Thanks for any input.
Has the new read been announced? I didn't see a video. Just want to make sure I can get it as soon as possible from the library if interested because I don't have money for books this month.
Not yet. I’ll remind Peter today when we talk. Things have been a little crazy for both of us. :)
It hasnt. I had a family emergency happen yesterday so we havent been able to connect. Thanks for your patience, everyone! :)
So, I know this is like a week late so I apologize. Our Jan 2020 read is If You Tell by Gregg Olsen.
I just looked up the Jan read, I think this will make me cry!! I'm going to try and get it from the library tomorrow.
I'll try. 45 holds on 12 copies at my library. Hopefully I get lucky! Can't afford any books for a while.
Mel, I hope things have gotten less stressful for you and you’ve been able to enjoy the holidays. Thank you for the 2020 read. I just added it to my Kindle library.

Happy New Year/Hogmanay from Bonnie Scotland. I love you guys and have a good year of books. May happiness follow you wherever you travel. 💜
I heard the new book was If You Tell by Gregg Olson. Is that correct? This is my first month in the book club. Thanks!
Just bought the book and I'm almost 25% in. I'm hooked but also wasn't expecting this to go so deep for me.
I really liked it, it was more like a crazy movie and a long episode of snapped. It was more interesting and read better than last months book.
I am interested in reading the Bling Ring. I have heard it is good. About a group or a ring of rich Hollywood teenagers who targeted celebrities like Paris Hilton, Orlando bloom and a bunch of other A listers. They broke into their homes and stole millions of dollars worth of stuff from these celebs and police couldn’t catch them. I guess the books is their story after being caught. The Sofia Coppola film was inspired by this book. I need something lighter after January’s If You Tell ha.
Guys, I was catching up on Peter’s videos and on his main channel he said that Feb’s book is MindHunter! Of course, I know it’s not official until he makes the PeterLikesBooks video but still. What’s so weird about it is that I bought a copy of that along with If You Tell because I was going to read it on my own. 😂
Yes that is the book “mind hunter”! I just got my copy from amazon yesterday! I can’t wait to start it. I’m almost done with “if you tell”

Wasn't this case discussed in Mindhunter? Cool.
I totally missed March’s book :-( will all new books be announced in this thread...sorry for the newbie question.
Just finished the March 2020 book last night and I almost didn’t finish it. The first quarter if not half of the book was not interesting to me. It felt very “sensational” without any substance. I enjoyed Mindhunter very much because it had the thought behind the crimes and how the police worked on the case. This was about how the killer killed his victims, which in turn we learned nothing about the victims nor their families and how they were effected. This book could have been so much more. It was like a true crime harlequin romance novel.
But I felt like the ending redeemed the first half-ish of the book. I did enjoy how they were able to get the killers confession but that’s about it. I really wanted to like this book but there was so many holes and missed opportunities it was like a bland piece of swiss cheese.
