I finished Four Dead Queens today and I loved it. Still reading The Extinction Trials: Rebel and my bookmail arrived today with Song of the Dead, so I'm super excited for that one. :)

I've finished A Study in Scarlet! A classic obviously. It was nice reading the first Sherlock Holmes book, and seeing the meeting between him and Watson =) I've just started Dracula, also a classic! It won't take me long to finish it I think...
I will be done with my ambitious list today! I read NOS4A2, Revival, We Have Always Lived in the Castle, Lovecraft County, Books of Blood vol. 1, and DNF Evil Librarian because it was immediately terrible. I will finish Hex today. In addition to original monstrous-themed reading plans, I also read The Vampire's Assistant (meh), and several non-theme books. I don't know how I managed all of this before the 20th.
I only read one Monstrous book so far and am hoping to read two in the end. I'm still trying to find a balance between caring for the baby and reading, haha. So far bath time is the only time I can properly read? Oh well!
Finished:
When The Tik-Tik Sings
Currently reading:
The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein

I don't have that excuse, and while I've started all 3 of my monstrous reads, I haven't finished a single one yet! lol
I finished the ARC of The Perfect Girlfriend last night. Wasn't on my official TBR, but was definitely a crazy ass read. Woman was a nut. LOL
I finished Where'd You Go, Bernadette today and found it to be an enjoyable, but far out, read. Was this book supposed to be taken seriously? I'm honestly not sure... but it was a fun time nonetheless.
I'm still reading Mistborn: The Hero Of Ages by Brandon Sanderson. I haven't had a good reading week and am only 136 pages in.
I finished Lycopolis and I'm pretty hard to scare with words, so this wasn't spooky to me, despite the demon summoning and creepy wolves, but I thought it was cute and had a precious 14 yr old boy who tries to be "goth"... adorable! Plus, if you like the old text based role play games, this book does an excellent homage to that. I love when indie books surprise me in good ways!
Okay. So the month is coming to its end, and I have read 4 books from my TBR of 8, and the four remaining are all from the same series. And I'm not really sure If I want to start them right away. I'm thinking about maybe reading one of the books that are due to April and then reread Red Queen and keep on with the series.
finished 4 out of 9. got slightly side tracked with other books and a few of the books i was meant to read but didnt im reading as a group read in future months. out of the four i read they were all relatively good reads with engrossing plot lines and most were good set up for the next book
Hey guys! It's been a really slow reading month for me due to one of my sump pumps failing and my basement flooding, my beautiful bookshelves arriving and me putting them together and shelving my books, my dog being prepared for a minor surgery and work and life in general... as they say, when it rains it pours. But, I did finish When the Sky Fell on Splendor this morning for #buzzwordathon. I gave it 3 stars.. it was ok. I really like the setting and the found family trope but other than that it was kinda meh for me. I'm currently in the middle of 5 other books plus an audiobook so I guess ill see what I can finish by the end of the month! Hope you're all having a great month and i'll update soon!
So I have been a bit side tracked this last week, but I've read 2 out of the 4 I picked and am partway through a 3rd book which I should finish in time, so I think it's been a success! :)
My reading still hasn't been the best. I'm still only 208 pages into Mistborn: The Hero Of Ages by Brandon Sanderson.
I finished The Hero Of Ages by Brandon Sanderson this morning(I had an allergy/cold/sinus thing that messed up my reading all last week) and I'll be starting The Alloy Of Law by Brandon Sanderson today.
This month monstrous for me meant books that were 500 pages or more and I managed to read 3. I reread Illuminae (608 pages) by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. I also read Never Fade (507 pages) and In The Afterlight (535 pages) both by Alexandra Bracken.
I finished The Alloy Of Law by Brandon Sanderson this morning and I'll be starting Crenshaw by Katherine Applegate today.
I finished Crenshaw by Katherine Applegate and am now starting The Way Of Kings by Brandon Sanderson.
I just finished Song of the Dead and that's it for me. Over the month, I read 3 of the 4 books I listed. I then also got a bit distracted by rereading a favourite and reading a shorter book that I found in my local library, both not on the list, along with still doing a couple of very short rereads on old favourite books.
But still, that's about 6 or 7 in total- so march definitely turned out good like I'd hoped. :D
Yeah, so I've finished ONE. *sigh* Although I did finish one not on my TBR also, so maybe this isn't as bad as it sounds. Hahaha.
I was able to finish two books. Was really busy this month and wasn’t able to read more. Still pretty satisfied with my reading this month. Good luck to everyone!
