I added this book to the group because I'm amazed by how good Thomas Hardy is!
There are people who studied English literature among us, that's why maybe it's not my place to say this but I think he is great. I loved how he had a unique woman heroine. I remember hating Bathsheba for being stupid (!), I didn't always approved her choices. But now that I am a grown woman too, I can say "Who am I to judge" and appreciate Thomas Hardy more.
I am thinking about reading another Thomas Hardy book this year. If anyone has a recommendation for me, it will be much appreciated...
