Elizabeth | 13 comments This was a children's picture book that I read probably sometime between 2002 and 2006. I thought the title was something like "are you awake?" but when I searched that I couldn't find it. The book starts with a little girl who wakes up before her parents do, and then we are shown other people who have also just woken up. There are the girl's grandparents in Florida, and a sailor out at sea, among others. I believe they were all in the same time zone as well.
The only other thing I remember is that the book ends with each person that we've seen so far saying good morning or hello in their own language.
Thanks for any help you can give!

Elizabeth | 13 comments No that's not it :( if I remember correctly, the focus was less on different time zones and more on morning routines.

One World, One Day?

Not sure either of these are focused on mornings, though.

Elizabeth | 13 comments Sorry to just get back to this now!
Neither of those is the one I'm looking for...I think the cover of the book was a picture of a little girl peering into her parent's bedroom, if that helps

Mai | 1280 comments This one sounds like your book:
Is Anybody Up? by Ellen Kandoian
Although Molly in the United States is far away from the Inuit woman of Baffin Bay and the lonely sailor off the coast of Chile, they all eat breakfast at the same time because they are in the same time zone.

You can see an image of the cover here:

Sounds like it might be a good addition to the Morning Picture Books list.
