I am new to the group and new to Good Reads as a first time author. I am seeking to respectfully solicit thoughtful reviews of my book, The Gift of Tears.
The Gift of Tears is the true story of a an otherwise healthy teenage boy named Jacob who was suddenly attacked by a deadly illness. Within a week of the onset of his sickness, Jacob.
Largely through social media, though, an army of supporters and prayer warriors spread across the nation. When all appeared lost, instead of burying their son, Jacob's parents witnessed a miracle in Jacob's complete healing.
The Gift of Tears, in addition to being a story about the healing hand of God, is also a story of a healing of an entirely different kind. Jacob's father, a faithful but hardened career prison Officer, had experienced the worst in people for decades. Through his son's suffering, however, he experienced the unbridled goodness in the hearts of his fellow man and, in the process, saw his faith in humanity restored.
I would be grateful for any reviews from Christian authors or readers.
