As far as I could tell they were:
1) Spenser's trick with the delivery man in Aaron was replaced by more details about Spencer's relationship with his aunt.
2) The expletives were toned down throughout the YA version.
3) The memory that Aaron recalls for his memory mapping exercise with Dr. Thomas was different. In the adult version it's of a cigarette burn torture while the YA version memory is of bleeding out in the garage after the men left.
Of the three...
I liked Spencer's sex scene a LOT but I can understand why it was removed in a YA book.
The softening of the expletives worked better for me. I felt when I read the adult version that some of Aaron's cursing clashed with his otherwise child-like speech during panic episode.
I couldn't decide which of the two dream mapping memories would be more traumatic and I'm not sure why this section was changed.
What do others think?
