Hi there fellow readers! The Kite Runner made it into my Buzzfeed article "Your Favourite Books in the Banned List", which I created as part of a school assignment. Kite Runner is a great book and I was surprised to learn that it was banned in certain countries. Appreciate it if you could spare a minute to read and even comment on my short article here:

The Kite Runner has left a mark as deep as a scar. It is such gripping tale of love and redemption. The backdrop of the social turmoil is what creates the foundation of the story. I can't think of this book getting banned and potentials readers being deprived of such a wonderful experience. It can only be banned when someone needs to hide truth. Truths about the ill effects of war, the hardships people face during a war, the pain of a refugee, gruesome loss of loved ones.
Seriously, can't think of this book getting banned.....For book lovers, it will be a huge miss unfortunately.
