Liam Ringstad | 1 comments This is the 3rd book in the Harry Potter series. Once again this book starts at the Dursleys they are all waiting for the arrival of Marge (Mr.Dursleys sister) and Harry is definitely not excited. Later that evening after Marge arrives they are all downstairs and Marge makes the mistake of saying the most rude things possible to harry which angers him to the point where he blows her up like a balloon and she flies out the door and away in the sky. Harry then decides to leave the Dursleys but has nowhere to go, walking alone in the dark he is startled by a black dog and he falls back as a big bus appears called the Knight Bus( a bus that appears if a wizard is in urgent need of transportation) which ends up taking him to the leaky cauldron where he ends up hearing about someone named Sirius Black a dangerous serial killer who escaped from Azkaban and is told he is out to kill Harry.

This is my favorite out of the 4 I have read so far and my favorite part of the book is when harry faces sirius In the Shrieking Shack and the plot twist when Harry ends up not being the one sirius was after but instead wormtail. The most interesting character in this book would have to be Professor Lupin he was a big part of the book training Harry to fend off dementors, kept Sirius hidden in the Shrieking Shack plus he was a werewolf. I really liked these past few books and plan on reading the last 3.

Jacob | 15 comments I read this book along with the others. I really enjoyed this one especially, in part I think because of the bond that Sirius and Harry begin to share is so natural and different and I feels like it's the first time in the books where he really has a parental figure (because the Dursleys don't really succeed in that endeavor). He also overcomes fear and danger for Sirius which was another reason I liked it so much.
