Since Darlene couldn't locate the book I picked for her she gave me a new list to choose from. The new book I picked was Her Mother's Hope by Francine Rivers. It is a wonderful book that I have already read (plus read the others in the series). I gave it 5 stars. Hope you enjoy it Darlene.

I pick The House in Amalfi by Elizabeth Adler for Larica
Oh Jessie that is ok, that is something that Linda needs to do since she posted that post herself. We can only edit our own posts. So you are good and Linda will add it but thank you so much for trying.
Hello Jessie,
Larica is a co-worker of mine, Where did you choose this book from, i don't see it on her to be read list??? Books must be chosen from the to be read list or a list designated by that person..She isn't on line here very often, so i went check it out to see her list and didn't see anything by Elizabeth Adler.. Unless you messaged her and spoke to her that i don't know.. Thanks, have a great day :)

Linda,Sorry she told me she liked romance and I read that book and thought she would like it. About if you tell her I picked another one for her. I will pick Easy (Contours of the heart #1).
Thanks
Jessie

Ok Jessie, How about The Choice
"Ok I just received it from the library.
That's ok Jessie, if you too talked about it.. I know she had told me she hasn't updated her list, so a lot of the books on her list she may have read already, cuz i know she reads a lot. But i will put up Easy and see if she has read that one or not.. If she has i will put up your first suggestion since her list is not up to date. Thanks, have a great day.
Larica just messaged me and chose Unlocked by Karen Kingsbury for me.. so i added it to list. Will close out challenge tomorrow.
For the September Pick It for me: Here are 3 from Nora Roberts:(they are paperbacks from 1999,2003)Once Upon a Dream, Once Upon a Castle and Once upon a Star, each book has three short love stories.I didn't think I would like these books at all but they get you in the heart. (found them in the library)
Oh sorry Veronica the challenge has been closed, Hope you will join us next month for this challenge. And the way it goes is the person above your name chooses a book from your to be read shelf or if you have a designated shelf to tell them to choose from, and then you would choose a book for the person below your name. We do this challenge every month so hope you will join us in October.
Darlene picked for me "An Amish Miracle" by Beth Wiseman, Ruth Reid and Mary Ellis. I finished reading the book this evening and I have to say that I really enjoyed the book a great deal. I laughed at a few places and cried in quite a few places as well. I am glad that I read the book.
To read my review you can go to https://www.goodreads.com/review/show.... I gave it 5 stars.

Just finished my "Pick It For Me" selection made by Linda. It was a wonderful read with just a couple of things to mention that are an aversion. As good as the HIDDEN PLACES is, for me, some of the chapters were so very long that it felt like they would never end. I prefer short, to the point, chapters. Also be aware that this is a first person book and depending on the section, you must keep in mind who the "first" person is, which some people cannot abide but to me is insignificant. That being said I still give the book 5 stars for its wonderful storyline and wish I was able to give it more. All in all I highly recommend reading it.
I read my september pick the choice. It was a good book. Easy to read nice story. Ready for another book
I'm really Disappointed with the book i amReading i cannot keep going.
Is there any chance i can change?
Ive started another one already.
If i stay - gayle forman
That's fine Fiona.. I understand sometimes we start a book and we just can't get into it. So go ahead and use If i stay.
Thank you :)I read 9 chapters and couldnt take anymore
Of it.
I started if i stay yesterday and im already half way through. Im delighted with it
Thank you Rita for my September book. I like Nicholas Sparks a lot and I enjoyed this story thoroughly. And I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't bawl through the last part of his book like I have been known to do. The Longest Ride was a story told from three of the main characters point of view, and sometimes looking at the same situation. Thank you again Rita!!

Larica is a co worker of mine and she doesn't like the book that was chosen, she can't get into it so i picked her another one, hope you like this one..
I am reading Blackberry Summer, which was August's book of the month; Between Sundays which is this month's book; Only God Knows by Xavier Knight which will fulfill my "X" author; Circle Maker and The House Girl for two of my other book clubs. Then we'll see what is ready at the library or on my own stack to read.

I have finished Silenced and enjoyed the read. First time I have read a book by Dani Pettrey. I plan on reading the others in the Alaskan Courage Series. Thanks for picking this book for me to read, Brittany!
Glad you liked it, Rita. I have enjoyed the whole series. The second book, Shattered, is my very favorite, with Submerged a close second.

I would highly recommend the rest of the series. For anyone interested it is called Marta's Legacy by Francine Rivers. Good Christian author.
I am currently reading my pick it for me pick, A Miracle of Hope by Ruth Reid. It is really good so far and I will post my review when I am done.
Ok so i finished my pic Unlocked by Karen Kingbury.
I am an absolute fan of Karen Kingsbury, But for me this book was slow at the beginning and it took me a long time to get into the story. It's not one of my favorites by her. At a little over half i was more into it. So i rated it 3 stars. Don't know why it just wasn't for me. But i did finish it, because i want to read all of her books.
