But apparently not :P Although, I just remembered, it said somewhere that Nina was a child who was taken by the Darkling when he took all those scholars from the little palace, so then I got really confused again, since Nina was a lot older now? But maybe they meant like that she was 12 or something idk.

oh yes, i just passed that sometime back, and I was pretty confused too! Right now she's 19(it was mention when she was with Hanne I think), so three years ago she must have been 15-16

Nikolai is overly snarky, and I can't stand him for some reason. If we're being honest, the only reason I love this book is Nina. I'm praying that her and Hanne aren't endgame in Rule of Wolves, I'm still not over her and Matthias. (hide spoiler)]
