Who do you think is more of a hero pita or Gale ?

Then there was a stage in my life that I was addicted to hunger games (age 8) My favorite book was catching fire Not long ago I thought to myself, Who is the hero at the end of the book, Pita or Gale?
Pita survives until the end of the hunger games for the first time, and volunteers again to be competitor. I know "he loves Katanis" but I think it was a bit too drastic. Then he survives all sorts of things and finally is taken to Capitol to be snow's toy.
Gail does not do much of the book, usually complains and angry at Katnis and wants to start a revolution and Katnis only feels guilty the entire book because of him .. But in the end he saves some of the people from District 12 (including the Katanis family,) and finally arrives at the "safe" place in District 13.

Honestly, hero wise I would say Peeta, but only because he's so determined to keep Katniss alive,and Gale wasn't able to contribute to that,as he wasn't in the games. But, on any other spectrum, I personally like Gale better because of his special bond w/ Katniss.
Honestly, this is more opinions based. I don't really like Peeta (it's NOT because of him losing his mind) because, for me, he kinda looks fake... I LOVE Gale, and I was drastically sad when he left at the end for District 2 after the war. DON'T CONTINUE, THIS MIGHT BE A SPOILER! Just saying, when they dropped the capsules with the kids around President Snow, you probably won't believe who did it... It was actually Gale... I felt heartbroken cause he killed Katniss's sister, Prim (😭), and he never told her (I think...). He felt guilty tho, and he's my type of character.
Yeah, I really didn't like Peeta. I kinda felt like Katniss should end up with Gale.
I liked Peeta because even if he wasn't that strong he was willing to give his all for what he thought was right.
Mockingjay kinda changed my mind for worse about Gale.

Peeta was always there for Katniss during the games. Gale did some horrible things, especially in Mockingjay. (Won't say it cause of spoilers)

So I would say Peeta is the hero.

I myself like Peeta a lot. I dun know why but his love for Katniss is like sooo cute. Gale likes Katniss a lot but he never told her before Peeta made an entry. So yeah I support PEETA
