Kindle Owners Tend Not to Remember Key Plot Points

Just adding my input but I also saw and read this article earlier and I agree. Personally I find that I do remember certain events and points in the book a lot better when reading an actual paperback as opposed to an ebook. I can't explain it I just do! ☺

I think this is true, I often have to back track in a book to remind me of a charater or event, I don't do this with my Kobo because it is too much trouble so I just hope it will all become clear in the end.

I think there are advantages and disadvantages with both. However, I favour reading books on kindle.

It motivates me to read more carefully, so I do not have to go back and I do remember the plot better. Also I find highlighting and bookmarking to be useful aids if I need to review or go back.

I like reading books on Kindle because of the convenience aspect. The element I miss with paper books is the ability to look at the other books the author has written when I am reading, also, a book tends to become "anonymous" when I am reading it on Kindle....sometimes the picture or design of the cover of a paper book adds to the enjoyment of the mystery...not so with Kindle. I read is Kindle these days...just easier, less clutter and more portable.

I read mainly on the kindle, but I am sometimes too lazy to click back and check things like "she just said she went to coffee with her mother, and I am sure earlier it was her sister ..." things. Whereas, I would quite happily flick through a paperback to check. So, I dont think it is that I don't remember key plot points, more I am just too lazy to double check things.
