We have two votes in favour of starting Friday. I will be able to finish my current book in time for this Buddy read. I read a couple of Dean Koontz books Demon seed and Watchers which i liked. So am also looking forward to this series.

As for rules yes I will explain Ladies and gentlemen. While discussing things we have read, especially if it involves spoiling events and plot issues. We must use spoiler tags. Some of us may read slower and it would not be fair to spoil the book for them. So spoiler tags are shown on the How do I thread on HA page. But I will explain here now. You must add the following at the beginning of your sentence the word spoiler in between these two symbols <> and end with /spoiler in between <> again at end of sentence. I will give example below
+Mehmet+ Read to live, love to read+/Mehmet+So just replace the add sign with < and > and my name with spoiler and it adds the spoiler tag
Also there is no time limit, you can read at your own pace. Keep conversations civil and no abuse please. I am sure Admin will get involved if problem, but just a friendly reminder. Well hope this helps. We should be starting Friday 1st February. Any questions or help needed just ask. Happy reading everyone

Lots of people love anti heros but I still prefer likable characters to my novels. Hope Odd Thomas is such a character.
Hey I noticed on iPhones something posted with a spoiler tag shows up as “spoiler removed” but on my Android it shows up with different wording. I was wondering if someone can confirm this for me. Just looking to clear up how spoiler tags show up for the newbies
Like on my HTC (Android) it shows up as (View spoiler) Mehmet is cool (hide spoiler)
I don’t think the Goodreads app is compatible with the spoiler tags because I am not able to interact with them on either smartphone device. Maybe someone with a more advanced smartphone can confirm this for me. I am only interacting with Goodreads from both of these phones. I am sure the internet browser version is working fine.
Maybe the Goodreads Admin and Moderators are already familiar with these issues
(Also from my iPhone I am not able to edit my messages once they are posted. So maybe the Goodreads app just has very limited functionality)
Do not worry Jonathan, its same on my phone. The app does not have full compatibility. Editing and using spoiler tags, i tend to go to desktop version to use.
