I am interested in reading books where there is a very large puzzle that has multiple steps to solve that many people are working on. It could be a competition like in Ready Player One or something more collaborative like in An Absolutely Remarkable Thing. Basically anything where the main characters are trying to solve a puzzle with complicated clues and steps they have to follow, preferably if there are lots of other people also trying to solve it. Any genre welcome. Thanks in advance!

There is a lot of ya on this I can't recall any titles more than maze runner and the court of fives. I will try to think of some more books.
The novella Diamond Dogs is sci-fi about a team trying to reach the top of a mysterious alien spire by solving puzzles. Think Indiana Jones meets Cube.
If you haven't read the The Temple of the Blind series by Brian Harmon, check it out! It's one of my favorite puzzle-based series.
You could try The Da Vinci Code which features symbologist Robert Langdon solving a puzzle and clues to get to the bottom of a murder in a museum. This book is part of a series by author Dan Brown
