This is HAJ's best work. A full-blooded epic fantasy that moves like a crossbow bolt. Big, rich and fast. Also (writer nerd alert!) if you're the kind of reader who takes notice of how a story is told, you'll marvel at some of the skillfully wrought scenes. Vital details, backstory, character, history and more are delivered seamlessly with the often headlong flow of the story.
Great stuff from start to finish.
