Silver Please post any background and additional material about the author and/or book you think would be helpful to our discussion. Please post spoiler warnings where needed.

*Because I was unable to prepare a proper reading schedule for this book I will be posting all threads at once for discussion.

Also because this is a bit of a longer book, and to make things easier in planning our next group read, the discussion for this book will go until the end of September.

Lynnm | 3025 comments It's been so long (at least three decades) since I've read the House of Seven Gables.

To be honest, I can't remember the main themes of the book, and don't want to take a chance of seeing spoilers if I look online for pre-reading materials.

Hopefully, a number of people will join in because I'm looking forward to the discussion on the book.
