*Because I was unable to prepare a proper reading schedule for this book I will be posting all threads at once for discussion.

Also because this is a bit of a longer book, and to make things easier in planning our next group read, the discussion for this book will go until the end of September.

It's been so long (at least three decades) since I've read the House of Seven Gables.

To be honest, I can't remember the main themes of the book, and don't want to take a chance of seeing spoilers if I look online for pre-reading materials.

Hopefully, a number of people will join in because I'm looking forward to the discussion on the book.

Recurring Themes so far: One generation's mistakes will be paid for by the next generation, living in the past, segments of time (Past, Now and Future) and social class systems? I am sure there are some I have missed in the reading.
