Riikka (riibu) | 9 comments I only read a blurb about this book in another, and I can't remember which one that was either so I cannot say if it was by the same author or not.

Basically there's a masquerade going on and the main FC is there to find this specific dude, who at some point insulted her about being a wallflower/shy/something something of the sort. Or just generally dismissed her. But she's there to prove to herself she's not anything of the aforementioned by getting this dude in private and giving him a secret blowjob. And after they're finished she may have said something to the dude about 'haha, proved you wrong' and leaves without revealing her identity... only it's the wrong dude! And he's shocked and intrigued? And wants to find her obviously?

I don't think it's particularly old or anything, I think I read about it a couple of years back, and it was a fairly good conditioned library paperback that the blurb was in.

edit: ... maybe it was just a handjob? she did something to leave him stunned anyway!

This has similar aspects of what you're looking for?

Riikka (riibu) | 9 comments Similar certainly, but I don't think it's the one. The whole bit of their masked meeting is more than one chapter so I don't think it would translate well into an introduction in another book. Also it's all the way in the middle, not the start like I think my lost one would be. And other parts don't sound familiar

Looks good, though, I'll read it anyway, thank you.

Rosalyn | 43 comments A Lady's Pleasure by Renee Bernard?

I haven't read this but the blurb sorta matches

Riikka (riibu) | 9 comments Okay, I checked that out and I gotta say, it matches pretty exactly with everything I think I remember about it. It's a first in a trilogy, and the second sounds vaguely familiar, like I've read it, and at the end this one maybe could have been "oh, if you liked this book you should check the first one, here's a bit of it, nice right?" I'm gonna have to read all of them now.

I think I can call this one solved! Thank you very much. :)
