Updrift Updrift, the first in a trilogy (only two of which are out) is up on Audible and iTunes. :-)
Mary Jo Putney's The Rake is available for pre-order - release date is 13th June. This is one that's been on my audio wish-list for a loooooooong time!Narrator Mark Meadows isn't familiar, but I'm listening to a review copy and he's pretty good.

Good to know. Love this book!
To Sir Phillip, With Love by Julia Quinn is available on Audible. I think this might be the last of the Bridgerton titles that wasn't available in audio previously.

For those of us in the UK, it will seem as though the series is unfinished, as the earlier recordings by Simon Prebble of books 6-8 aren't available here.
I thought this was funny......Audible’s new romance audiobooks service uses machine learning to jump to the sex scenes

i can't get the link to load...ugh...can you copy/paste the text...the service in and of itself sounds interesting - especially if you listen to a lot of romance audiobooks

Has anyone checked out the new Audible Romance Package that the article brought up? I looked through it and loved how it's organized by genres, sub-genres, tropes etc. It even includes a steam factor rating system for each book. It's free for the first month and $6.95 a month after that if you already have an Audible or Kindle Unlimited membership. It looks like there's no limit to the number of books you can listen to each month. I have quite a few books included in the package on my wishlist so I'm going to for sure do the free trial!
i'm def. intrigued by it but i'm not listening to a lot of streaming stuff right now (really the only reason I haven't jumped on it yet)
Oh Lord!!! I'm checking this out right now!!Dee - Where does it say you have to stream? I'm not interested in that either...
I subscribed right away. it lets you put in your audio library 10 books at a time. once you reach 10 books you have to delete a book from the library before you can add another romance book to your library. Not all romances are included. However for those of us who spend a huge amount of money on credits for audiobooks that we listen to once maybe twice and then they sit in our library this is a wonderful option. At least it seems that way to me. I have already listened to three audiobooks that I ordinarily would not have purchased and I’m now listening to one that I might have purchased but instead of purchasing I just borrowed. And maybe that’s the way to look at this is a has a subscription to a romance lending library. Any books that you see is keepers that you really want to read again and again and again, you probably aren’t to buy with the credit.

I do love how it organizes everything by genre within romance. Two of the books I listened to already were others I had never listened to before and it was fun listening to them in discovering authors that I decided I might really like to listen to again.
I've found quite a few to listen to on the Romance Package (and yes, you can download up to 10 at a time) and have already listened to six books. I will say that while I like the idea of the organization by genre I've found several that are wrongly classified (Gothic put as Erotic when it's nothing close to it, Historicals in Comtemporary categories and vice versa).
I spent yesterday going through 24 pages, 20 books per page, of the "magic" catagory and rented 9 books. However, about 95% of the books listed are from before 2012 when most were done by female narrators and every man sounded just like a woman and all they did was read the book, no emotions whatsoever. So, even though there's a large selection most of them are not worth listening to. But, I figure if I can find 9 in one catagory I can find 9 in other catagories, too. Good luck with your hunt everyone.

I just noticed that Kathleen Woodiwiss' books are slated to be released in audio in April 2022. So far, it looks like only Shanna has a narrator attached.
The audio version of The Girl Who Disappeared by James Lingard narrated by Natalie Beran recently climbed to 43 in Amazon's ranking of 20th Century Historical Romance. The Girl Who Disappeared
