Nicola White My favourite vampire has to be Alisa/Sita from Christopher Pike's "The Last Vampire". I first read it years ago - it came out in 1994 and was already "old" when I found it - but it blew me away.

In an Angel v. Spike contest, I'm team Spike all the way!

I REALLY appreciate how you posted a link to the book in your response. There's some vampires named here, when I read the description I'm like "WOW! I wanna read that!" but I don't know what series or book they're from. I wish more responses included a link or at least a title. Anyway, Thank you! I can't wait to read about Dimitri.

Mr. M. | 9 comments Gotta be The Count from Sesame Street right?

Just kidding. I am going with Spike aka James Marsters.

message 54: by MadameZelda (new)

MadameZelda I really believe the Count from Sesame Street is the most popular planetwide.

Mr. M. | 9 comments Brilliant. And thank you for reading The Magical Adventures if Brian Leonard.

message 58: by Lyn (new)

Lyn Mckenzie | 27 comments TV - Keifer Sutherland in The Lost Boys & Angel (can never see David Boreanaz as anything else now)

Books - so many

Asher - from LKH - there is just something about him that I live

Eric Northman

Mircea in Karen Chance

All the Dark series by Christine feehan but if I had to choose one it would probably be Dimitri Tirunul in Dark Wolf - if you have read this book then I think you will see why

message 59: by Melanie (new)

Melanie Gabbard (melaniegabbard) | 197 comments Kiefer Sutherland: Lost Boys ... you can't go wrong with Kiefer!

Rhage: BDB - Tohr is a real close second to Rhage

Damon Salvatore!: Vampire Diaries. WHAT!!!

I recently had to write a two-minute story about a chewed-on pencil. While everyone else wrote about school, note-taking, etc... this is how my story went:

Seriously?! He handed me a chewed-on pencil? Is this a joke? I would rather have Damon Salvatore go vicious on my vain and use the blood pouring from my carotid for ink than touch anything from that pencil-chewing-amoeba-infested mouth.

Soooo... I had a bit of a different mindset from the others. :)

Congrats on your release, however this is not the appropriate place to promote yourself.
We have a Discussion board dedicated to authors promoting their work.

SHBown | 8 comments Apologies. I'm new to goodreads and I have to admit it's really confusing to me. I won't do this again.

It's perfectly fine!
I noticed on your profile that you're new, so I just wanted to inform you of the rules.
But honestly, congrats on your release!

Hope Irving (hope_irving) | 182 comments Yep, congrats on your release. Can't wait to meet your vampires. My favorites are Gary Oldman in Coppola's Dracula... Smexy! + Lestat + Angel but my book boyfriend and current obsession is Eric-badass-Northman;)

message 65: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Wrath from Dark Lover (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #1) by J.R. Ward was my first.

And of course Brad Pitt from Interview with the Vampire. All kinds of sexy goodness.

message 66: by Crystal (new)

Crystal Ponti (crystallponti) | 4 comments I will always love Edward Cullen. :) But I'm also fond of Mick St. John of Moonlight.

Louis in Interview with a vampire is too whinny to my taste, and Brad Pitt isn't at his best in the movie, which was unfortunate. I like my vampires evil, but not too much. I'm conflicted with Angel, he complains about his condition (annoying) but turns out to be a soulless badass and love, so it's ok.

Yep, Edward, how could I forget him?! Shame on me. I love everything about him except the sparkling thing. And Mick is yummy (yet, still tormented, so I'm glad he's super hot, it balances his down sides).

YES! I could do without the sparkling (still don't really get that) but he is ... haunting and delicious! :)

My theory: They sparkle because their bodies are like stone but stronger, like diamond strong, hence the sparkling. :)

I think you're right Kiersten. Still, it was okay in the book, but not so much in the movie. Too bad because I'm 100% on Team Edward ;)

I liked Edward in the books, but I couldn't stand the actor who played him in the movies. Kinda ruined the character for me.

I liked both the books and the movies and really loved Robert Pattinson in that part ;)
I wouldn't say I was thrilled with Tom Cruise playing Lestat or worse, Brad playing Louis although I loved the movie as much as the book.

LexiLovesBooks34♡ (lexilovesbooks34) For books my favorite are Bones Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1) by Jeaniene Frost
Vlad Once Burned (Night Prince, #1) by Jeaniene Frost
Edward Twilight (Twilight, #1) by Stephenie Meyer
Adrian (was hasn't anyone add him? He is seriously sexy) Frostbite (Vampire Academy, #2) by Richelle Mead Bloodlines (Bloodlines, #1) by Richelle Mead
And JeanClaude Guilty Pleasures (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, #1) by Laurell K. Hamilton sure he's a little much but he does have a certain appeal

I haven't read this "Night Huntress" series yet. You guys are making me feel like I am totally missing out.

I like that A-hole vamp in the Shannon Mayer series Rylee Adamson. Can't think of his name. But he is a royal douche and I love it.

You totally should read the series it is awesome . I am going to have to check out the book you mentioned I have never heard of the series or read anything from that author. I'm not always into the whole douchebag thing but sometimes it just fits the character and is totally sexy

he is so fuuny. seriously. i love it. That author has 2 series out that I have read. The rylee one. which is pretty darn good and a newer one which they say is set in a kinda same realm as rylee series, but there is barely a connection. its fun too. another super fun one is Kate Danley, Maggie for Hire- that series is HILARIOUS

I'll pick up the first in Night Huntress and have to see if this vamp man is all he is cracked up to be. ;)

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) I just started reading The Night Huntress books last week. Have a few on order, read the first two. Of course Bones is fun so far.
