Angela (mrsangiereads) | 6 comments Hello, my name is Angela Frantz, but you can call me Angie. I like to read, and have a goal for 2019 to read at least 2 books a month. I love reading these genres: mystery, fiction, spiritual(stuff like Beth Moore or John Grey), scifi, Christian Amish love stories, crime fiction(I like stories about the FBI; such as Scarpetta series, Jack Ryan, or Sherlock Holmes), and fantasy. I had a bout with anxiety in my 20s and trying to get back to reading like I used to. My brother-in-law is an indi author and I am just looking for other books to review and proof-read. I dont need to get paid, just looking for the experience and to be able to put on my resume.
Anyways, thanks in advance. Also, I prefer to read things with not a lot of foul language. Thanks.

Ceri Bladen (lcbl) | 48 comments Hi Angela, I'm not sure if you are interested in reading one of mine?

It's called 'Twe12ve' and is a fantasy come crime book (no graphic crime details.) There is a little romance and some suspense...

It centers around Odin and his twelve sons coming to earth to help protect the humans who hold the keys to a safe (protecting the secret of life.)

If you are interested, please make a note on here, and I will send you my email address to arrange sending a copy.

Thanks, Ceri Bladen.

These are the details on the book: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Odins-sons-T...

Angela (mrsangiereads) | 6 comments Hey all, sorry I have not been on here lately...
Ceri, I would love to read your book. I am a bit of a slow reader though, does it have to be done in a certain time?
Doggett, I would be interested in the steampunk one.

Kiran Bhat (originalsin_0421) Hello Angela,

I don't know if I write in your preferred genre, but I hope that you will consider my request all the same. I am Kiran Bhat. I am an Indian-American polyglot, traveler, and writer. I have traveled to over 130 countries, lived in 18 different places, and speak 12 languages. I try to use my lifestyle and perspective as a means to create globalised works of literature. I'm in the middle of a book tour, but have realized that I have done very little work to get reviews of my work onto the Internet; I am trying to fix this now. Would any of you guys be interested in reviewing my novel, we of the forsaken world...?

In a distant corner of the globe, a man journeys to the birthplace of his mother, a tourist town destroyed by an industrial spill. In a nameless remote tribe, the chief’s second son is born, creating a scramble for succession as their jungles are being destroyed by loggers. In one of the world’s sprawling metropolises, a homeless one-armed woman sets out to take revenge upon the men who trafficked her. And, in a small village of shanty shacks connected only by a mud-and- concrete road, a milkmaid watches the girls she calls friends destroy her reputation.

we of the forsaken world…, published by Iguana Books on January 22nd, 2020, is structured as a linguistic chain comprising the accounts of 16 people, connected along subtle lines, who indirectly witness these four narratively and geographically diverse central storylines. The story flows and recombines like digital connectivity, throwing into question pre-21st century assumptions about narrative logic and, I hope, embodying the way in which modern communication unites this planet every second, everywhere.

If you are interested in reading it, you can get a copy on amazon (https://www.amazon.com/we-forsaken-wo...), or I will happily send you a review copy if you pm me. Just let me know what works for you.

Best wishes,

Kiran

Matt Gianni | 66 comments Hi Angie,
I hope you've recovered from your sinus surgery.
Thanks for your post. I like your reviews. I'd be honored if you'd consider reviewing my debut dual timeline historical fiction / contemporary thriller LEVER TEMPLAR. The book blurb and book trailer are on my author site:

https://www.mattgianni.com/

I noticed your preference for Christian-based books. The past timeline of LEVER TEMPLAR takes place just after the crusader era, as the papacy takes refuge in France to escape the violent political families tearing Rome apart during the fourteenth century (a period known as the Avignon Papacy, or Babylonian Captivity - seven decades the Roman Catholic Church would like to forget). If you think you might enjoy this book, please let me know where I may either email an eBook file (PDF, MOBI, or EPUB), or mail a physical copy.

Thank you,
Matt Gianni

Leia Barko | 0 comments Hi Angie, I'd love it if you reviewed my YA dystopian crime thriller book Ruffian. Here is the synopsis:
Astra Hal is a Ruffian, a member of a secret organization created by the artificial intelligence Sigma, designed to be humanity’s last hope in case all else fails.

Hendric Sanjor is the son of a representative in the United Republic of Global Welfare, the ruling body of the world.

When a virus of unknown origins starts spreading across the planet and Hendric’s family is accused of starting it to gain political advantage, Astra is sent to investigate the issue. When it becomes clear that the accusation is false, the two form an uneasy alliance to hunt down the real perpetrator behind the pandemic. But the puzzles, criminals, and politics they weave through can in no way prepare them for the dark secrets they are about to uncover.

Thanks in advance and hope to hear back from you soon!
