I also did their course on the Confessions, and on Dante's Divine Comedy. These courses are just great.

I have subscribed to The Great Courses Plus, which means I own nothing but can watch most anything. I haven't checked to see whether these courses are among those available from The Great Courses Plus.

Of course, my settled policy is not to watch lectures or read articles or books about a book I am going to read. This includes not reading introductions that are not written by the author.
