Not sure what that means. Appears to be a published author.

Not even very original. Gone.
Can you attribute this quote https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/2227...to the book Between Dunes and Hard Places
Thank you very much!

It has been 'liked' so we would normally leave it. Does it need editing?

Nope, that's okay then. I just didn't want it to be the first quote to show on my page. Thank you.
Help! I added a quote but attributed it to a book -- and it's not from a book. Can you help me either delete the quote or just delete the book it's attributed to?https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/7222...
Thank you!
https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/6635...The quote is from Book II Ch. 6 of The Fellowship of the Ring and not The Two Towers. If this could be edited it would be much appreciated. Thank you!
Could you pretty please remove the first quote (“I love you too, my sweet Mary…” ) in the link https://www.goodreads.com/author/quot...
I attributed to Anonimous by mistake.

Did you mean "Anonymous" instead?
Both quotes removed.

Thanks Guaton.
These two need to be added to a book: https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/6121...
https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/6121...
Both are from "Very Good Lives" in the drop-down list
Also these two should be merged:

https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/7781...
I added a quote by Matt Coyle that needs the book title. It is Yesterday's Echo.

The quote at https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/2565... appears to be misattributed to Nietzsche, as it is in many internet sites, but appears that it should be properly attributed (in a 1935 conversation) to Rudyard Kipling, as reported by the man with whom he was speaking, Arthur Gordon, although it does have some passing resemblance to section 199 of Nietzsche's _Beyond Good and Evil_. You might want to amend the attribution, note that the attribution is contested, and/or include a link to the correct, Kipling version at https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/7252....See http://www.kiplingjournal.com/textfil... and https://answers.yahoo.com/question/in... and http://www.stephenhicks.org/2014/03/2...

Perhaps Goodreads should add a CITATION field to each quote in which those who post the quote can identify the work from which it comes or the date/context in which it was said. That might reduce the number of errors that Goodreads librarians need to fix.Edit: Oh, I see that field already exists, at least for naming a book source, but since it is optional apparently no one uses it.

I guess this needs a super:Alan Bennett, three versions of the same quote:
https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/2032...
https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/1178...
For the two above I'm not sure which version is the correct one.
And here's an abridged version of the one above:

Combined and text changed to match my Faber edition.
Made a typo on this one when transcribing from my hard copy:https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/7251999
About 3/4 of the way down, it says:
"If some brave soul interjects a radical new idea or questions on of the group's firmly held views"
Should be "one of the group's"....

https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/6129...So far as I can tell, this is a quotation by a goodreads user.
This quote is NOT from Erich Fromm. https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/7343... The lyrics are out of order, but they come from "The Music of The Night" from The Phantom Of The Opera. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPXPw...
(The relevant parts are at 1:40 - 2:08 and 2:52 - 3:18.) Could somebody please delete the quote? Thank you :)

Removed.
I posted my first quote - yay! - but added too much information. I'd like to remove "by Katherine Valdez" and the book title from the following, but there doesn't seem to be a way for me to edit my own quotes. Thanks in advance for your help!“When life expectancy hit 95 years of age, married people around the world shouted, "Enough!" And just like that, the institution of marriage was reinvented. - from "Expiration Date" by Katherine Valdez (Baby Shoes: 100 Stories by 100 Authors)(Amazon)”
