Did you think it risky for Sarah to visit Vivian Van Orner on her own to seek help for Amy? What did you think of her decision to help the group extract Amy from the brothel?

[Robin]

I didn't think it would be risky at all, until she decided to help them rescue Amy. The madam figured out right away that Sarah had helped them by luring away the carriage driver. I'm surprised they didn't do more to Sarah than showing up at her home demanding that she produce Amy.

[Jonetta]

I was a little nervous when she went to visit Vivian because she didn’t know anything about these people. Like you, Robin, I thought it extremely risky when she helped with the rescue.

I think when they realized she was Felix Decker’s daughter they set limits. Also, they weren’t the ones in the end that were murdering people.

I don't know why she didn't post a letter in the first place. Sarah often has TSTL instincts that are protected by Frank or circumstances.

I’m not sure a letter would have been practical but certainly something other than going alone.

I was so sure something would go wrong with that rescue plan! I was really worried for her there. It was fortunate that her status as Felix Decker's daughter protected her from any retaliation.

I wasn't surprised that Sarah went to see Vivian and became involved in the rescue because she often does these TSTL things.

I was a bit concerned for her at first, but once it became clear that Rahab's Daughters was in a respectable building with lots of people out and about, I knew she would be fine.

I'm new to the series. I couldn't resist commenting now that I found you.

Interesting thoughts. I didn't have an qualms about Sarah meeting with Van Orner. She is a society matron running a charity supported by the well-to-do. She wasn't taken seriously when she first entered but that changed as soon as she dropped her father's name.

I did get nervous when she because part of the snatch-and-grab. I thought something was going to happen when she had the baby in the carriage, especially when she was showing the baby through the window.
