Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Greg Heffley wanted a journal and to be popular but his mom bought him a diary instead and he was mad but he still used it. He had a lot of things going on in his life and school was about to start first year of jr.high and Greg and his friend Rowley were a bit nervous and on the first day of school they had nobody to by at lunch so they had to sit by the garbage cans with a weird kid who didn't have any friends either then Greg and Rowley got into a fight and stopped talking but then they became friends again because they couldn't stand not talking.
Opinion
I read Diary of a Wimpy Kid the first book and I thought it was a pretty good and funny book it was easy to understand and . Because it made me laugh and it is easy to understand and had good pictures. Like on page 47 it has a funny pictures that made me laugh and they were good pictures.
The conflict in Diary of Wimpy Kid is that he is starting his first year in Jr.high with his best friend Rowley but they aren't the coolest people and don't have any friends so they are going to have to work there way up to be some of the coolest kids at the school.

I liked the first book too…second book not so much… I HATE RODRICK!!!!!
