What an emotional journey through life as seen through the eyes of someone just wanting to be themselves and not conforming to the rules of society or who and what a woman should be. An incredible use of symbolism and emotion such as the feeling of being inside a bell jar, “stewing in your own foul air” , as you look out at the life going on around you...

I read Het Achterhuis (a Dutch book) by Anne Frank, also known as The diary of Anne Frank. I read the comicbook version of this book and liked it a lot. With this version I could manage to read the story way more easy then in the "normal" book form. I gave it 5 stars.
