Checking in for January

Hi there,

In total for January, I've read 22 books, some of them being graphic novels. I'm quite happy with that number as most of the books were of standard size ... it means I can do better if I decide sometimes to read smaller books ;)

I ended up with 33 and got a handful finished yesterday as I had off for work.

Great job! My month was mostly smallish books (average pages per was only 300) so I am thinking Feb is going to be a month of tackling some big books on my TBR. I'm starting out with one over 850 pages, which is definitely on the big end for me.

Elizabeth, I 'm currently reading a 920 page book ... and not an easy one so it quite slowed down my reading speed :) But it's nice to stay for a while in a story : it's easier to bond with the characters in it :)

I am up to 39 books so far. I am doing a lot on Kindel, good books, free books, some take less than two hours to read. Going back to the library on Saturday for books on CDs. My goal for the year is 365 books, so I am to the 10% mark.
