Sean Sandulak has created a great Wikia for our Local Hangouts!

http://vaginal-fantasy-book-club.wiki...

If you have updates to it post them here.

Thanks Sean!

There is also a page for events and meet-ups, but you don't have to post those here. I will add them if you either 1) make an event or 2) post to the monthly meet-up thread.

Also, because it's a wiki you can edit it yourself directly, but you should have a basic understanding of wikis and html if you do.

Mel (booksandsundry) (booksandsundry) Woah that is awesome, thanks Sean!

It's now even easier to find a group near you using this Google Map of every meetup and hangout.

You can select the point nearest you for a link to that group's Goodreads forum thread or Facebook page. Points will be added whenever a new thread is started in the Local Hangouts & Meet-Ups folder or an event is posted. Groups will be marked inactive if they have not met in the past three months. To show only active groups, deselect the Inactive Groups layer in the legend.

Like all things Google, this is currently in beta. Markers currently only point to general areas, not specific locations (except SF which points to Borderlands). Don't use for directions. See the relevant thread or page for the exact address. Please let me know if there is any missing or incorrect information in this thread. Thanks.

Genesee Rickel (geneseerickel) | 70 comments Hi Sean! The Seattle group has a Meetup page but no Facebook page (yet!). Here is the URL for the Meetup page: http://www.meetup.com/Greater-Seattle...
Would you please update the wiki when you have time? I don't know how to update wikis so I would appreciate your assistance. Thank you!

Updated. Those links were for the previous Seattle group which hasn't met for over nine months. I leave those links up because sometimes groups disappear from the forums but still meet via Facebook. That group appears to have been deleted though.

Sorry, there doesn't appear to be a New Mexico group yet. Why don't you try starting a new thread for your city/area in the Local Hangouts & Meet-Ups folder. Sometimes that's all it takes to draw the lurkers out of hiding.

Thanks for the info Sean! I'll give that a try. Us New Mexicans do tend to hide out lol.

Glynnis Grieco-waters I am trying to alert any Bostonians/Rhode Island members of a new group in Southern MA and I'm not sure how to go about that. So if there is anyone more computer savvy than I am could help me out, that would be great!

Just a notice that, in order to keep a handle on the number of meetup threads, forums which are inactive for more than two years will be locked. If you want to start a group in an area in which the thread is locked, either begin a new thread with the city or area in the title, or you can message me here or on Twitter (@SeanSandulak) and I'll unlock it, usually within a few hours. Inactive threads have been moved into their own folder way down at the bottom.
