Can i search books by genre? or somehow categorize books using goodreads api?

i want to find a way to categorize books or search for books by genre. is that possible using goodreads API ?

This is exactly what I was looking for, too. I was hoping to be able to build myself a little search tool to filter my own shelves by genre.
