Carrie | 310 comments I finally finished my first book this year!! :) (Took me long enough!)

When Friendship Followed Me Home Loved it! Even though it was for middle grade readers, it had all the feels.
Moving on to Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World and hoping to finish something else on my Currently Reading list.

Carrie | 310 comments I finishedDewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World ... wasn't all that taken with it. Yes, he was an adorable and lovable cat but the story didn't quite grab me.
I just finished Shelter in Placeby Nora Roberts. Loved it. It wasn't so much as a 'who done it' as a 'when are they gonna get her'!!
Next to finish is Days of Blood & Starlight by Laini Taylor. Almost finished!!

Carrie | 310 comments Finished Days of Blood & Starlight and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Loved Days of Blood and Starlight - can't wait to start the third and last book. It was weird when I finished this one.... I missed the characters.
Fantastic Beasts just seemed like it had to be read. I've read all the Harry Potter books except the Cursed Child. So it seemed logical. It was good. I loved the sound effects in the audio version. Made it all the more real (especially while driving in the rain... some of those sounds were kinda scary!)

Carrie | 310 comments Wow! It has been a while since I posted last. Been busy with work and the grandkids :) So, here's what I've read over the past 2+ months - Rescue & Jessica: A Life-Changing Friendship, The Remember Balloons, Otis and Will Discover the Deep: The Record-Setting Dive of the Bathysphere, All Rise for the Honorable Perry T. Cook, Unbound: A Novel in Verse, The Jumbies, The Dreadful Tale of Prosper Redding, Fuzzy, The Girl in the Letter, Hate You Less, Her Right Foot, Greetings from Witness Protection!, and Estranged.
Yes, I work in an elementary school library, so many of the books are on a middle grade level. Wait til summer and I'll graduate to other books :)
