Gwen entered about ten minutes later. She wasn't sure about classes with magic; they made her nervous. Which is why she tended to arrive early

He did not, however, know where to put his things do he just left them by the front desk, pretty sure no one could tell him anything.
Arana had been in the classroom for an hour or so before, getting things prepared for the lesson. She didn't pay too much attention to everyone that came in, but glanced up when Constantine dropped his things by the desk without a care. She had gotten a bad feeling from him since they first met, but she didn't say a thing about it.
None of the people in the room looked at all familiar to Gwen, which made her slightly uncomfortable. She was sure Drago's was in this class with her, or even Asmund, but waiting alone was not something she looked forward too.
Her baseball bat hung out of her back pack, revealing the butt end and the worn cloth on the handle.

Akira smiled politely at the teachers when she walked in, wanting to be polite as she took a seat near the front. She had on a traditional blue kimono and her hair had been cut recently.
Dragos had already been seated in the classroom, annoyed because it was a particularly sunny day that day. He had dressed himself in an old Victorian funeral outfit, complete with a black veil and gloves. He had his feet kicked up at his desk and playing a handheld game.
Mikan walked in a few minutes later, awkwardly looking around for anyone she recognized. She hadn't seen Gwen yet, so she just took a seat near the middle of the room, playing with her braid. Aside from her normal military dress, she had a green bow on her back. She felt learning how to dispel curses would be very useful for her, knowing the kind of magic she had, so she was glad this school had such a class.

Gwen had sort of spaced out, leaning against a desk. Once she noticed Mikan was here as well, she chose to go over to her instead of Dragos. After all, he made classes a bit difficulty.

Mikan smiled nicely at Gwen, feeling relaxed now that she had a familiar face. "Hello!" She greeted. "I didn't see you when I came in at all,"

"That's alright. I was kinda out of it. My brain is not prepared for classes yet. I woke up two hours early. I bet you can guess how Coral felt about that," Gwen said, situating her bag in her lap.

"Let me tell you, no one screams about beauty rest as much as Coral," she said with a little laugh. She didn't like Coral but she didn't hate her so at least it was just amusing.

She laughed a bit. "Sounds like my younger sister. She's got all of her dad in her so she's very fiery and loud. Always yells if we keep her up for one reason or another,"
"Alright if everyone would take their seats, then we can start shortly," Arana said in a voice just loud enough to reach the whole room. She glanced around the room, taking a mental count of the students.
Last minute, Yuri rushed through the door and took the open seat next to Akira.
Gwen gave him a little nod as she looked up to the teachers. "You think you'll be any good in this class?" She whispered to Mikan.

“Yes, actually. A big part of our lessons back home was how to identify and properly dispel curses due to our powers. I was happy to learn the same class was here!” She gestured to the bow on her back.
Akira gave Yuri a small but polite smile as well, folding her hands into her lap. “Looks like you were just on time!” She mused.

Akira was still sitting politely in her seat, her hands folded into her lap. She had a single white barrette in her hair.
Dragos was leaning forward in his desk now, completely absorbed in the game he was playing. It was hard to make out any details about his face from the veil.
Mikan shifted her position in her seat, suddenly feeling awkward because it was hard to sit down with a longbow on her back.

((lol I just realized that you mean archery bow, Liz haha. I was like okay.... What does a pretty green bow have to do with spells? Haha))
About to respond to Mikan and suddenly distracted, Gwen's eyes widened at the teachers actions. None had ever taken Dragos game in any of the classes, probably because they knew what came next.
"Uh oh," she breathed.

It somehow took Dragos a moment to process fully what had happened, but once he did, he shot up out of his seat like a bullet, annoyed. "Hey! Like, why the crap did you do that?! It's bad enough I gotta be here with the sun as freaking bright as it is, but now I can't even have some fun? You freaking suck!" He snapped at Constantine.
Akira put a hand to her mouth, giggling behind it slightly, amused. She thought Dragos looked like a troublemaker upon first sight and was looking forward to seeing his punishment.

"Of course they didn't, but I don't care. And I just said I didn't wanna be here! And I was about to get #1 in the royale anyway! So give me that back!" Dragos continued to demand, pulling off his veil to glare at him better. It revealed a young purple-eyed boy.

"Dragos...." Gwen tried to reason, standing slightly. She frowned at the teacher, thinking him to be irreasonable and quick tempered.
"You'll get it back later."

((Lol he just has that veil on to protect himself from sunlight. He actually thinks he's really attractive and would never hide his features))
He rolled his eyes. "Can't believe there's two hot women teaching this class and I get stuck with you," Dragos finally leaned back in his seat with a sigh, not wanting his beloved gaming system to be thrown away. "Whatever." He pulled his veil back on and mumbled something under his breath that sounded like 'go suck it'.

Constantine rolled his eyes before he went to lean against the wall, looking over at Arana so that they'd start this thing already.
Gwen watched her friend, wondering if she'd be able to talk to him later. She righted her self in he seat and sighed.

Akira simply giggled again and tilted her head. "Oh my, oh my, it seems we already have a troublemaker in the class!"
Gwen looked over at Akira, narrowing her gaze at her.
Yuri who sat next to Akira just kind of shrugged and hoped that Mrs. Raijin was able to control the class once it started. He hadn't slept well in months.

Akira simply continued to smile politely, not wishing to get into a conflict. "Regardless, I too hope this class begins soon. It's awfully boring just sitting here doing nothing."

Arana had let John handle the video game incident, and she actually was a little impressed by it, but there was no way she would ever tell him.
"Well it's time to start. We're going to cover the basics today, so make sure you take notes because hopefully we're going to go through a lot," she explained, essentially starting the class. "And if you're not a magic user or at least aren't strong in it, don't worry. There are both magic and non-magic solutions to warding off curses."

Gwen felt a bit relieved to hear that. That meant she wouldn't have to spend more credits on even more temp spells. She took out her notebook, adjusting Jericho.

Dragos rolled his eyes and leaned back in his seat some more. They could take away his video games, but they couldn’t actually make him pay attention.
Mikan pulled out a small blue notepad and clicked a pen, eager to get started.
Akira had a special electronic tablet that she used as she believed it was more convient to carry around and organize. Thus, she pulled the black slab out and turned it on, gently tapping her stylus against it.

"Some of them," Arana corrected. They really had planned their lessons together but she still wasn't sure he was on the right page. "There are some things to remember when attempting to ward off curses, but the main thing is that being proactive is always the best practice. It's always harder to get rid of a curse that's already taken hold."

“But surely some curses could be used for good, right? Like to enhance strength or speed. But it still carries the negative connentations of being cursed,” She asked curiously.

Yuri was confused by that. "Do you mean like, if someone uses a spell to make you fast, are you still called cursed because it is technically a curse?" He asked Mikan. "Because I think you wouldn't have to worry about that unless someone put a fast curse on you to torture you."

"Well, I was wondering because....um...in my world, we fight using weapons that we can wield because we make a contract with a demon inside. It gives us demon-like abilities but technically we're cursed. But it's for the good of humanity...so would it still be bad?" Mikan motioned to her bow. "Like I have one,"
