Not really helpful, but aninteresting pov about what it like to have anxiety (& depression, but mostly anxiety)

Experiences weren't believable, like when books are written by people who have been there. The psych sessions were annoying, but I think that's in their nature -- so maybe that was believable. Ending was... what I feel adults would want the ending to be. I don't know a better way to put that. Really disliked the narrator. Not worst, but far from great.

I'm glad the series ended, honestly. It was a fun ride, although I never loved it quite the way others did. I don't think I would have ended it quite the same way, but it's over now, and I can appreciate the concept as a whole.

Everything retirement planning book, harrington
Began useful info - 401k, 403b, the usual. Then living will and whatnot. Ok. Then commune? Then nutrition advice? Really? Why is a cpa giving me nutrition advice? Ended with matinee special type recommendations. Overall, it started out good s but for real weird real quick.2*

Audiobook. Not for everyone. Toxic relationship between an anorexic girl with astronomy on the mind & alcoholic trust fund baby guy. I found it interesting -- in that I have never read something quite like it. As if their personal issues aren't the focus, but rather how they interplay into this dumpsterfire codependent/ abusive relationship. Strange but genuine. 4*

4.1* mostly good. It's music. It's poetry it's lyrical trauma. It's dark, emotional & honest. Probably not for everyone, but it's not supposed to be.

- tab won't exchange cheese for guacamole. Sour cream, ditto.
Don't gaze at candles. Or Quit all exercise (running, lifting), ex yoga. Not well cited, at all. Could've used a references page for all the books, videos listed. Websites useful.
Like that geared to aa reader. First. Covered enviro, health& ethical reasons (mostly ethical). Other food options. No recipes. Mostly just personal anecdotes. I HATE how he would slam meatless mondays & meatless til 6, because that's a half measure, & folks should go veg, but then admit & rationalize eating fish & chicken (& note other celebrities that do the same). It just makes him sound like a hypocrite & defeats the purpose.

I really enjoyed this. Teen sci-fi horror. If it was an original idea, I'd give it a 5. As it is, it was quite enjoyable. The beginning better than end, but whatever.

4.7*
This was good. Didn't love the narrators voice, but was done well. The perspectives. Of the girl of omniscient flashbacks to before. Sharing perspectives of husband & how hard it was on him. Of the cruelty of staff team/ “direct care” / nutritionist (firm?). Of their reports of progress (treatment plan update). So many angles. Maybe upbeat ish, but perhaps a book like this needs to feel hopeful in the despair. Anxiety around food & weight gain.

Everything isn’t worthless. Walking, stretching, annual checkups, vitamins/ cooking, make a budget, drop toxic relationships, write, organize photos, hike, volunteer, etc.
but you have to read about absolute nonsense repeated over & over to get to anything useful. Skip it. 1.8*
