I have been wanting to read this series for awhile now, so I am glad to be starting this, hopefully this weekend.

I am almost halfway through Son of Avonar and loving it!

I just started reading it today. I am on the third chapter and so far I think it's good. Tall, fair, naked stranger and interesting backstory for the main character so far.

I wanted to encourage people to keep reading. Not going to be my book of the year, but I quite struggled getting through the first third but got into it after that point.
