The ending picked up a little bit but it definitely didn't do much for me. I think I'll wait a little bit before I read the next book.

I finished Bethlehem by Karen Kelly and the second half saved the story. Here’s my review.
I finished listening to The One by John Marrs and loved it! Definitely an unusual story and here’s my review.
I finished Just Love by Prescott Lane and it had me in tears at times. Loved it and here’s my review.
I finished Final Assignment by Linwood Barclay, Promise Falls #1.5, and for a short story, it seemed to have everything a full length has. Here’s my review.
I’m reading Murder in Morningside Heights by Victoria Thompson, Gaslight Mystery #19, and listening to Far From True by Linwood Barclay, Promise Falls #2.

I also finished listening to An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks and it was SO good! Here’s my review.

Tucker Jenkins is a very rich man but tired of the fast paced world in New York. He has sold his technology business and bought a horse ranch in Vermont that he literally knows nothing about. Missy Marino's has worked at the ranch since she was a teen. Her ex-husband has left her serious debts and now her dream of owning Steeple Ridge is no longer possible after the owner has retired. Now this city slicker and Missy somehow have to work together and keep it going. This is a wonderful, inspirational romance story. Two people from two different worlds come together in employment and romance. Both divorce's with baggage who can have second chances. A wonderful story. 5 star review.

"Not just what you're born into, who raises you. . . It's what you do about it."
My Review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

This was a very suspenseful book with much suspense, romance and mystery. Delia went out west to be a mail order bride to a lonely rich rancher Jack. They decide to get to know each other before taking their vows so Delia stays in the hotel in town. She gets to know Ruth and Jack's aunt Rowena and they all become very good friends. There is a twist that Jack never told her about. He was left at the altar just months before by Willow. Willow is a self centered, manipulative, nasty woman. So what a shock when she comes home from New York and befriends Delia. There are many twists and turns in this book. The reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 is that the editing for Kindle was just awful. At times I had to backtrack to understand what I was reading. I still recommend this book if you don't mind the errors, bad punctuation and bad grammar. 3 stars

Cecilia Prescott has learned that her late father was terribly in debt and there is nothing left for her and her mother. Her mother insists she marries fast to title and fortune to not lose their standing in society. Gerard Mormont, Marquess of Malbrook, seems charming, and a good catch. But there is more behind this dashing man than meets the eyes. Cecilia and her mother are invited to Clairmont by the Duke and Duchess to let the two get to know each other better before a marriage announcement is made. There is a terrible scandal at Clairmont, unbeknownst to Cecilia. Robert Fanning, newly titled Earl of Lothmire and solicitor is trying to get this scandal settled down and bought off before its a ruin to Gerard and the Belshire title. Robert is an indifferent sort of man to Cecelia yet she still finds bantering with him enjoyable, especially of books. He treats her more like an equal than a possession as Gerard wants. Robert is a man of honor and struggles at his duty for the Duke and the evil of the Duke's son. This book was so much fun to read. It had everything you would want, romance, intrigue, mystery, suspense, good against evil, twists and turns. It is a clean historical romance and keeps you on the edge of your seat. One of the authors best. I would give it more than a 5 star rating if I could.

Can someone tell me why my book cover does not download anymore.? Thanks
It may need to be replaced. There was a glitch this week and covers couldn’t be uploaded to the site. It’s fixed but any that we’re added to the site during that time don’t work. You can post a request in the librarian group and ask to have specific covers replaced/added.
FYI, I’ve added the cover included in your message #273. Edit your comment and search the book again. The cover is there.

The typical two dysfunctional people. Dwayne was injured over seas in the military and was dumped by his fiancé. Felicity loses her dad and moves away to get away from that pain. She trains horses which fits into Dwayne's plan for his horse ranch. The back and forth and ups and downs of their relationship. It was a clean romantic book. Unfortunately, I didn't like the character of Felicity. She never deserved someone like Dwayne. He was selfish and used her dysfunctional life to her likings. I wanted to slap her and knock some sense into her. Not one of my favorites from the author. But all in all, it was a good story. 3 stars

Started "Finding the Broken Cowboy" by Cassidy Hanton on Kindle. ARC
Beatrice Foster's life falls apart when her parents are murdered. With the killer on the loose and trying to break into her home and kill her too, she escapes to hide at her uncle's ranch in Helena, Montana. Nathan Walsh is an attractive bachelor and local hero. He hasn't made a very good first impression on Beatrice as she gets into town. He opens up his playful personality. Nathan has taken it upon himself to teach Beatrice to ride a horse, against her better judgment. But both Nathan and horseback riding is a distraction from her painful loss and the danger they are all under. This was a very enjoyable, clean, historical western romance. Full of twists and turn, mystery, intrigue, love of family and of course romance. I would recommend this to everyone. 5 stars

Kay Bratt has written a very emotional, heart wrenching and heart warming book. After a very tumultuous life and a terrifying situation, Cara has left home with little in her backpack and very little money heading to Key West. As much as she hated leaving her twin sister, she felt she had no choice. Cara has always been a fan of Hemingway and wants to see his town and home. She meets up with an injured, lost or abandoned dog. She names him Hemi and they set out on a remarkable path to the Keys. That journey is one of made of such different emotions. After finally making it there, she finds herself at an animal rescue, no kill facility. This will change her life forever. I can't begin to say how emotional I was reading this book. This is a story for all to read. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Bravo Kay Bratt!!
I finished Avenged by Kaylea Cross, Hostage Rescue Team #5, and liked it but it took some time to develop. Here’s my review.

Mystery-Thriller-Suspense, alas no Romancce
My Review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Three women friends who laugh, share and are there for each other. They have their businesses, the struggles to get good help. Love living by the ocean. and this tiny island. A clean romance story of two people who have a lot of baggage and have been thrown together in a way on a beautiful beach resort. It was clean romance story with love of friends, a mysterious lighthouse where you hope your wishes come true. The editing on Kindle was horrible but I enjoyed the story. Yes, it was predictable, but light and fun. A great summer read. 4 stars
