Haven't read that one, Char. Must give it a go

I am making my way through Head Full Of Ghosts pretty quickly! I am really enjoying it.I have a question, I am going to read Night Shift - Stephen King next, would you just mark it as reading the collection as a whole or each of the short stories as I read through?

If I am reading the book, I mark it as a whole. Even if I read one story here and there or read it straight through.

I do it as a whole, just like Nancy does. As a result, sometimes it takes me a while to make it through a collection.
That said though, I loved Night Shift and I hope you do too!

The Lost Village by Neil Spring - enjoyable, spooky read inspired by a real location and following on from the author's previous novel The Ghosthunters featuring real life paranormal investigator of Borley Rectory fame, Harry Price.
I just re-read 'Salem's Lot for the third time, this time via audiobook. It's as excellent as it was the first two times. :)
Sea of Rust
Took a little bit to get into it, but turned out to be a wonderful, poignant story. I highly recommend it.

That’s good to hear. I bought it last year but haven’t gotten to it yet.

I was a little bit disappointed with this one. I listened to it on audio though, so I wonder if that could have contributed? Also, I might have built it up too much due to some rave reviews that I read.

Maybe a little of both? It’s hard when everyone else loves a book and sets the bar high. I don’t listen to audio but it seems to be hit or miss. Some of my friends will read and then listen to the same book (or vice verse) at a later time and have a different reaction. Sometimes better sometimes not.
Finished
, which I thought was really good. I'm trying to convince my teen daughters to read it, because I know they'd love it.

I'm glad to hear you liked it; this one's on my list! I hope to get to it sometime yet this winter.
All the Fabulous Beasts by Priya Sharma - an extraordinary collection of short fiction covering horror, fantasy, the paranormal and just about everything in between. Beautifully written with fantastic imagery which cries out to be filmed.
JawsI really enjoyed this one! I read it in 2 sittings.
The characters were really fleshed out (well, until the shark ate them har har) and so I was really invested in what happened to them and the town of Amity.
A book I should have read a long time ago and I'm glad I finally have. Added to my favourites shelf.

A German work of non-fiction dedicated to exposing the mechanics behind conspiracy theories/beliefs, written in a very entertaining way.

Although I'm certain I got interested in this one because of reviews somewhere, the description of it had me a bit leary. The non-expectations may have helped me enjoy it more, although in the end I thought the story was really good.

Fire & Blood
Five stars, and I would still rate it at least four stars if I would be less easily impressed. I have to disagree with fellow readers who argue there is almost no suspense in it.

I just finished
. It took me a while to get into it, but once I did I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to reading more in the series.

I wasn't certain how I would feel about it going into it. I've had a lot of bad luck with YA books lately, especially ones with romance thrown in the mix. However, I ended up really enjoying Six of Crows. I'll definitely check out the second book. Have you tried her Grisha Verse series?

Yeah I was skeptical but both books ended up being 5 stars for me! I've read the Grisha trilogy, it was okay but not as good as SoC. Excited for King of Scars though!
Just finished The First Conspiracy by Brad Meltzer & Josh Mensch and Forest to Forever by R. Blackwell
Monica wrote: "I finished THe lost world by Crichton and really enjoyed it. Less then Jurassic Park though."I felt the same- Jurassic Park was 5 stars for me so hard to top!
I finished Bird Box in a day, but found it didn't quite live up to the hype for me.Here's my review:
